    The Red Bull of Max Verstappen has yet to pounce on the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc. The Dutchman has tried a few times to hustle the Monegasque around Turn One but so far, no dice.

    So apparently, Max Verstappen was up until three in the morning competing in a sim race. We'd all be cranky after an all-nighter. McLaren and Lando Norris are discussing their current situation over the radio. Norris is thinking about the bigger picture - the drivers' championship.

    Classic team radio. The bleep machine is working overtime as Max Verstappen fumes on the radio about Red Bull's strategy. The Dutchman is chasing down Charles Leclerc with intent for fourth place.

    The fastest lap is now with Max Verstappen, who is sitting in fifth place, and is pushing hard in his Red Bull on medium tyres to catch the cars in front.

    He's [Piastri] has got to catch his team-mate [Norris] and then they can make the switch. They can't expect Lando to just park it and wait for Piastri to catch up.

    The gap between the two McLarens now in three-and-a-half seconds and second-placed Oscar Piastri is being reassured on the radio that Lando Norris will swap positions, but the team do want to avoid Norris losing a lot of race time.

    Lando Norris goes to the head of the field with his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, who has led the majority of this race, in second spot.

    Max Verstappen is placed on the medium tyre and is now in fifth spot behind fourth-placed Charles Leclerc. Lewis Hamilton now finds himself back in the podium spots.

    Neither driver is going to end up happy here, Piastri is going to be miffed that he's been undercut and Lando is not going to not necessarily want to give the place back.

    The problem McLaren are going to have now is Lando Norris who just put in a blistering fast lap on those fresh mediums, he's now going to go very quickly which will put Piastri under pressure.
