Holder Michael Hoey finished in a share of 32nd place at the Hassan Trophy in Morocco after firing a closing 70.

Hoey fired an impressive six birdies at the Golf du Palais Royal Club but his efforts were hindered by four bogeys.

The Belfast man's one-under-par total left him 16 shots behind winner Marcel Siem who finished three shots ahead of David Horsey and Mikko Ilonen.

Siem's third European Tour victory looks set to earn him a Masters debut at Augusta later this month.
