  1. Birdie for Woadpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 3 August

    Woad -2 (8)

A first birdie of the day for Lottie Woad, who has coped pretty well with the attention that's been on her at this Women's Open.

A short birdie putt on the 95-yard eighth wipes its feet before entering the hole.

She's back to two under for the tournament.

Woad was absolutely flying until a triple-bogey late in her round on Friday - how different things might have been for her if she'd avoided that.

  2. Lee stops bogey runpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 3 August

    Katsu -5, A Lee -5 (3)

Andrea Lee overcooks a birdie putt on the third leaving her a knee-knocker for par. With the prospect of a third bogey looming the American holds her nerve to save par.

  3. Kim joins Yamashita at top of leaderboardpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 3 August

    Kim -9, Yamashita -9 (2)

Miyu Yamashita is maybe half a club short as she lands her approach on the slope going up the second green.

She'll have a birdie putt coming up but from nowehere near as close as A Lim Kim, who pitches on to the dance floor and spins her ball back to about three feet from the pin.

Yamashita goes close but can't sink her effort from 20 feet and now has company at the top of the leaderboard as the South Korean strokes in her putt.

  4. Encouraging signs for Hullpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 3 August

    Hull -6, Khang -5 (3)

    Charley HullImage source, PA Media

Charley Hull came up a little bit short with her second shot at the par-four third, but a sublime chip on to the green leaves her with a straightforward putt for par which she grabs.

Some encouraging early signs that Hull's game is on song today.

Megan Khang, however, three-putts for a bogey.

    SY Kim -4 (10)

We mentioned a few moments ago that Sei Young Kim was going superbly well...

Well, things have come unstuck for her at the 10th.

It ends with a two-footer for bogey being pulled left and she's given two of those strokes back to the course.

  6. Hall drops backpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 3 August

    Hall -2, Takeda -5 (3)

Georgia Hall rather prods at a five-foot putt on the third and can't save her par. Bogey, par, bogey, is not the start she'd have wanted.

She was apparently priced at 80/1 to win today, did the bookmakers get it spot on?

  7. Poor start for Leepublished at 14:41 British Summer Time 3 August

    Katsu -5, A Lee -5 (2)

Andrea Lee jabs the head of her putter into the green after missing a putt for par on the second. She's furious with herself after clocking up another bogey.

Minami Katsu, meanwhile, taps in for par.

  8. Five birdies in a row for Martin Sampedropublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 3 August

    Martin Sampedro -3 (15)

A great two for Paula Martin Sampedro on the par-three 15th - that's five birdies in a row now for the Spaniard!

  9. Solid start for final pairingpublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 3 August

    Kim -8, Yamashita -9 (1)

Glorious from Miyu Yamashita. Her ball is on the bump of the bunker well below her feet and she clips in to two feet before tidying up for par.

A Lim Kim has a half-decent lie but is very heavy-handed as she shunts her ball a good 10 feet past the pin. It's a tough putt for par but she drains it.

  11. Hull & Khang settle for parpublished at 14:32 British Summer Time 3 August

    Hull -6, Khang -6 (2)

Charley Hull has the vista of a choppy sea as she eyes a birdie at the second. Her putt trails off to the right as it reaches the hole, leaving her a putt for par.

Megan Khang also goes close with her biride putt but she too has to settle for par.

  12. Kim out in four underpublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 3 August

    SY Kim -6 (9)

Sei Young Kim is the player to watch right now. She's into a tie for third place, having reached the turn in just 32 strokes.

It was so very nearly an eagle for the South Korean on the ninth, but a fourth birdie of the round will do very nicely.

  13. Martin Sampedro to be leading amateurpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time 3 August

    Martin Sampedro -2 (14)

The race to be the leading amateur is going to be won by Spain's Paula Martin Sampedro, who is two under par with four holes left to play.

Lottie Woad earned that accolade at St Andrews last year.

Three of the four amateurs who started the tournament on Thursday made the halfway cut.

  14. Postpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time 3 August

    Kim -8, Yamashita -9 (14:20 BST)

The final pairing are under way.

A Lim Kim zings her tee shot left into the wispy stuff and Miyu Yamashita larrups her drive again down the left but 5-10 yards inside her playing partner's ball.

The Japanese player is positioned perfectly with a nice angle to attack the green. She has 181 yards to the pin and plays a low punchy shot that arcs from right to left. Is she in the long grass or the bunker?

  15. Bogey start for Leepublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 3 August

    Katsu -6, A Lee -6 (1)

Not the start that Andrea Lee would have wanted.

A tricky putt for par at the first and she pushes it just wide of the hole for a bogey.

    Minami Katsu snaffles par.

  16. Postpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 3 August

    Hall -3, Takeda -5 (2)

Georgia Hall and Rio Takeda come off the second green with pars in their pocket.

They will hope that steadies the ship after they both made bogeys on the opening hole.

  17. Hull starts with a parpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 3 August

    Hull -6, Khang -6 (1)

Charley Hull's chip out the sand was good enough to earn her an easy par putt.

Ditto for Megan Khang, who came out of the rough.

A solid start by two players who will hope to be contenders.

A nice moment as the final group prepare to tee off.

Amy Yang has just finished up on 18, and walks past the first tee raising her thumb repeatedly at her fellow South Korean A Lim Kim, who holds a thumb-up in return.

  19. Hole-in-one for Rhodes!published at 14:20 British Summer Time 3 August

    Rhodes -4 (5)

    Mimi RhodesImage source, PA Media

That'll get you back in contention - a hole-in-one for England's Mimi Rhodes on the fifth hole!

And oh my word - Steph Kyriacou had played her tee shot first and left her tee shot about three inches from the cup.

Rhodes goes next, her ball is tracking towards the hole, takes a deflection of Kyriacou's ball and drops in!

That's the second ace of the week, after Kyriacou got one at the eighth hole on Friday.

    Incredible!

  20. Hull loves the thrill of the chasepublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 3 August

    Hull -6, Khang -6

Charley Hull has just neatly chipped out of the bunker at the first and looks a good bet to save par here.

Hull said after her six-under round of 66 yesterday that she loves the thrill of hunting down the leader in the final round.

"I just kind of enjoy chasing. It's quite fun. I like it. It's more fun that way," Hull said.

"I like hunting someone down. Will I go for it? Yeah, 100%. I've got nothing to lose, have I?"
