The writing was on the wall from the start really with Anna Nordqvist just not having her best stuff today and Allisen Corpuz giving nothing away - especially on the greens.
The USA move to 13 points and just need 1½ more to get the Solheim Cup back.
United States need two-and-a-half points to win the Solheim Cup.
One is surely coming for Allisen Corpuz very soon.
Zhang v Ciganda 6&4 USA
Rose Zhang finishes with a flourish on the back nine. She digs out the three wood on the 14th and hits the green to give herself an eagle chance, sending the crowd delirious in the process.
Carlota Ciganda is not too shabby herself getting on to the dancefloor, but misses a putt and then immediately concedes to hand Zhang the match.
An emphatic win for the American, who has not lost a single match this week.

Olympic silver medallist Esther Henseleit is keeping her nose in front of Andrea Lee and she pumps her fist as a latest birdie putt rolls in.
Lead extended to two for the German.

"I think we’ve got hard work ahead of us from what I can see on the leaderboard.
"I just went out there and tried to get my point today. I played really solid and I felt I didn’t really let her come in at all. It's been a good day and hopefully I can go and cheer the team now.
"I played well this week but I was obviously disappointed to lose my first two matches. I love matchplay and the Solheim Cup and it’s such an honour to be part of Team Europe."

It's a running theme that's continuing as Sarah Schmelzel holes out from just off the green to cut Madelene Sagstrom's lead to just one.

Allisen Corpuz with yet another long range putt to send her to dormie four and leaving Anna Nordqvist needing to win the last four holes just to salvage an unlikely half.
1UP Vu v Valenzuela (11)
Clutch from Albane Valenzuela at the 10th after Lilia Vu's majestic tee shot puts her under extreme pressure.
Valenzuela rolls in for birdie and denies Vu the chance to win the hole.
The American makes par and the gap stays at one.
Ewing v Maguire 2UP (9)
Leona Maguire is building up a head of steam.
The Irishwoman walks in a birdie at the ninth, benefiting from a superb tee shot. Ally Ewing has yet to win a point at this year's Solheim Cup so a chance for Magurie to apply some pressure on the back nine.

Anna Nordqvist is running out of holes now after a half on 13 leaves her with just five left to play and still three down.
Coughlin v Stark 2UP (12)
A good tee shot from Maja Stark at the 12th but she is unable to capitalise, missing a birdie putt to halve the hole with Lauren Coughlin.
The American shaves a hole off Stark's lead having sunk a 30-footer to apply the pressure. A battle of nerves now for the Swede.
Al Le v Hall 4&£
Two putts to win the match for Georgia Hall at the 15th as she takes aim from 15 feet.
She's been superb today and claims the point she deserves by rolling it close and getting the concession.
Europe need six more to retain the Solheim Cup.
