    As Tyrrell Hatton has already proved with two in his first three holes - his putt from off the green on the third bringing a beaming smile.

    He's playing with Tiger Woods today - and the five-time Masters winner is through the opening holes without incident.

    It's not usually a place for big comebacks at Augusta National, with 36 of the last 37 Masters champions sitting in the top 10 at the halfway stage.

    Jack Burke's eight-shot comeback in 1956 remains the largest 36-hole comeback in Masters history, and 80 of the 87 Green Jacket winners have been within five shots of the lead after two rounds.

    As well a sterling replica of the Masters trophy, a gold medal and the iconic Green Jacket, the man at the top of the leaderboard on Sunday evening will collect a record £2.88m winner's cheque.

    The total prize money for the field at the Masters this year is unsurprisingly up to £16m, a healthy £1.6m increase on 12 months ago so even if you finish down in 10th say, you'll stick pick up around £430,000 and 20th is worth around £210,000.

    Not bad eh.
