  1. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -3, Pavon -1 (3)

Ludwig Aberg has an air of assurance which makes you feel he can get on with his business whatever is going on around him.

There is not a load of focus on the young Swede at the moment, which means he can fly under the radar a touch.

Aberg chalks off another par on the third, keeping him on the shoulder of the leaders.

  2. Woods struggling as Hatton begins to find rhythmpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 13 April

    Woods +7 Hatton E (9)

Tiger Woods drops another shot. That's six in four holes now.

He splashes out of the sand to nine feet but then undercooks his putt and taps in for a bogey.

He still has a huge legion of people following him around but it's been mainly groans rather than cheers so far as he ends up playing the front nine in 42.

His playing partner Tyrrell Hatton does actually look like he's found some rhythm now, spiralling his second into three feet and knocking in for consecutive birdies.

  3. Fitz back to levelpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 13 April

    Fitzpatrick E (8)

Better news for Matt Fitzpatrick as he takes advantage of the par-five eighth to claw back the shot he dropped on three.

The 2022 US Open champion's round is back where it started.

  4. Par startspublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 13 April

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -6 (1)

It's a decent chip onto the first green by Max Homa but leaving himself an eight-footer for par on the first was not the game plan today. He manages to knock it in though and that will be a nice settler.

Bryson DeChambeau takes a more regulation route to a four with an approach on the green, good lag putt from distance and a relatively easy one for par.

  5. Willett makes another bogeypublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 13 April

    Willett +2 (5)

More problems for Danny Willett as he coughs up another shot.

Three bogeys in the opening five holes leaves him well adrift of the leaders.

  6. Scheffler pars the secondpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -7, Hojgaard -4 (2)

Scottie Scheffler goes searching for the pin on the second but his ball lands short and plunges into the bunker.

He's aggressive from the sand and almost holes another chip only to see it ran past. Eight feet for birdie coming back? No, he's missed, and stays at seven under.

Well played Nicolai Hojgaard who immediately recovers from his bogey on the first to birdie the second. Level for the day.

  7. Woods in more troublepublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 13 April

    Woods +6 Hatton +1 (8)

Tiger Woods needed a fast start but this is going in the other direction.

He is playing his second on the ninth from behind yet another tree and looks a little unstable as he clips it forward but straight into the left of two bunkers guarding the green.

  8. Morikawa on the marchpublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 13 April

    Davis -4, Morikawa -5 (2)

Collin Morikawa is going great guns here.

Two holes played, two birdies for the former US PGA and Open champion. Cameron Davis joins his playing partner on the birdie train, by knocking in from three feet after a wonderfully-judged chip from the front edge.

  9. Woods with consecutive doublespublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 13 April

    Woods +6 Hatton +1 (8)

Tiger Woods continues to go backwards.

He drives into the trees down the left of the eighth hole and is forced to take his medicine and chip out from under a small tree.

He finally gets on the putting surface in four, knocking his fifth to four feet. Amazingly he ends up taking another two from there and looks completely out of sorts now.

Tyrrell Hatton, who dropped a shot at the last, claws it back by sinking a birdie putt from 12 feet.

  10. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -7, Hojgaard -3 (1)

A behemoth of a drive from Scottie Scheffler as he flings it 380 yards down the second fairway. He could not be more central for a second shot into the green of this par five.

It's a tricky pin tucked away back left, but don't bet against him landing his next shot close and having an eagle shout.

Nicolai Hojgaard isn't too far behind him - he's also well placed to attack the putting surface.

  11. Postpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 13 April

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -6

Max Homa found the fairway - sadly for him it's the ninth fairway and he's playing the first! It's a good recovery though, as he balloons an iron high over the trees and just short of the green, and importantly back on the right hole. That always helps.

  12. Latest leaderboardpublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 13 April

One down, one birdie. Scottie Scheffler is back out front on his own... for now.

    -7 Scheffler (1)

    -6 Homa (19:45) DeChambeau (19:45)

    -4 Fox (4), Morikawa (1)

    -3 Aberg (2), Davis (1), Hojgaard (1)

    Selected others:

    -1 Fleetwood (2)

    +1 Hatton (8), Fitzpatrick (7), Willett (4)

    +3 McIlroy (16)

    +5 Rahm (72)

    +6 Woods (8)

  13. Final group underwaypublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 13 April

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -6

The final pair are underway, and it's a nervy start for Max Homa as he pulls his tee shot left and sends patrons scattering in the trees.

It's unchartered territory for Homa, but Bryson DeChambeau has been here before as a major champion, and he finds the fairway with a fairway wood that had some serious hang time on it.

  14. Postpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 13 April

    Hojgaard -3 (1)

Playing with a wonder-performing Scottie Scheffler will be a challenge for Nicolai Hojgaard and he's come unstuck already.

He's faced with a 14-footer for par on the first but the green breaks right and he misses.

A bogey start for the debutant.

  15. Birdie for Abergpublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -3, Pavon -1 (2)

Both of these fellas birdied the par-five second on Thursday and Friday.

Pink Dogwood has been lengthened going into this year's tournament, but it has made little difference in the scoring.

A very good chance to start the round on the front foot - and Ludwig Aberg obliges again.

    The young Swede means business.

French playing partner Matthieu Pavon makes an error though, missing the green with his third and having to settle for a par.

American duo Max Homa and Bryson DeChambeau play in our final group today and they're both quite the characters.

Homa says his friends staying with him this week were far more interested in what it was like playing with Tiger Woods than what he actually did yesterday.

And where do we start with DeChambeau, with his new custom made 3D printed irons, his big-hitting drives and unique take on golf, and life really.

He's played beautifully and also kept us entertained as well - these two will be fun to watch.

  17. Scheffler birdies the firstpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -7 (1)

The world number one is here to play!

For once, Scottie Scheffler finds himself off the green with his second shot, 32 yards for the pin.

But that's no problem as he magics up a chip in to make a terrific birdie.

    Gauntlet laid down.

  18. Morikawa makes fast startpublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 13 April

    Davis -3, Morikawa -4 (1)

A fast start for Collin Morikawa who is partnered by Cameron Davis today.

The two-time major champion has a tricky uphill putt that swings from right to left to negotiate but drains it from 27 feet to open up with a birdie.

  19. Fox makes third straight birdiepublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 13 April

    Willett +1, Fox -4 (3)

A stabilising par for Danny Willett at the third but hello, Ryan Fox has bagged himself another birdie.

This is how he started round one on Thursday.

A lightning move and he's now up to four under, and on the coattails of the leading trio.

  20. Postpublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -6, Hojgaard -6 (19:35 BST)

The penultimate group are off on day three at Augusta.

As expected, Scottie Scheffler laces his perfect drive down the middle.

Nicolai Hojgaard follows him, his tee shot going 20 yards further but coming to rest in the fringe.
