  1. Postpublished at 11:21 BST

    Noren -15, Saddier -15, Hatton -13

We're only on hole one and Tyrrell Hatton is already chuntering after firing his wedge to the front edge of the green. He's probably 20 feet short of the hole and will have an uphill putt, but he doesn't seem that pleased with his effort.

Noren finds the guts of the green, while Saddier is long, with his second trundling into more rough.

  2. Postpublished at 11:18 BST

    McIlroy -10 (15)

Another birdie opportunity for Rory McIlroy at the 15th but his putt leaks left.

He's about to enter a part of the course that has yielded plenty of scoring opportunities over the past three days.

  3. Postpublished at 11:17 BST

    Rahm -11 (9)

We're not seeing much of Jon Rahm, but the Spaniard has taken just 31 shots to play the first nine holes. That's elevated him up to 11 under.

A strong closing nine may just exert a little pressure

  4. Bogey start for Hovlandpublished at 11:16 BST

    Fichardt -11, Hall -10, Hovland -11 (1)

Up at the first green, Viktor Hovland has got himself a birdie putt with an excellent approach over the top of the flag.

It's about 20 feet, left to right and it's got more turn than he's offered it. Oh and he's missed it coming back. Not the start he had planned - and I told you this was a tough hole.

Playing partners Harry Hall and Darren Fichardt safely through with par.

  5. Leaders heading outpublished at 11:14 BST

    Noren -15, Saddier -15, Hatton -13

Our final group are all away down the first.

Tyrrell Hatton powers his ball down the middle while his Ryder Cup vice-captain Alex Noren and Adrien Saddier leak their drives out to the right but both look to have a decent lie in the rough.

  6. A tough startpublished at 11:13 BST

    Marco PengeImage source, Getty Images

This was Marco Penge a little earlier on the first hole, which is playing third-toughest so far this week.

Up to the start of today, only 7% of players have made a birdie across the first three days.

That's intimidating when you're leading the BMW PGA Championship.

  7. Trying to beat the weatherpublished at 11:12 BST

The players are heading out a little earlier than normal in the final round because of the threat of stormy weather hitting Wentworth later this afternoon.

And given the heavy rain that has lashed down most of the week, it's preferred lies on the fairways today. That means if your ball is on the fairway, you can pick up, clean and replace your ball within six inches. If you err into the rough, that's tough though, play it as it lies.

  8. Predict the winning scorepublished at 11:10 BST

A graphic of the way the scores have progressed this week

Right then, as the leaders head out, what do you reckon the winning score will be?

Last year, Billy Horschel won it was -20.

Thumbs up if today the victor shoots better than -18.

Thumbs down if we're looking at something more attainable.

  9. Ferguson birdies openerpublished at 11:07 BST

    Fitzpatrick -10, Ferguson -11 Reed -10 (1)

Scotland's Ewen Ferguson opened with a double-bogey six in round three. He's just knocked in a putt from 12 feet to play the first in half that number of shots and start brightly.

He's playing with major champions Matt Fitzpatrick and Patrick Reed, who are both in for par.

  10. Postpublished at 11:03 BST

    Fichardt -11, Hall -10, Hovland -12 (11:00 BST)

"My dad wants his hat back," shouts a punter as Harry Hall thunders his drive down the first.

The notoriously flat-capped Englishman is five back but that's not out of it.

He's playing alongside Darren Fichardt of South Africa and Viktor Hovland, both of whom also find the short stuff.

  12. Aberg error on first, Rai birdiepublished at 11:01 BST

    Aberg -9, Rai -11 (1)

While his Ryder Cup team-mates Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy are enjoying fast starts to their final rounds, the same cannot be said of Ludvig Aberg.

The Swede hits two perfect shots down the first to leave himself a 12-foot birdie look but then three putts from there. From staring down a birdie to writing down a bogey.

But for Engand's Aaron Rai - for many people unlucky to miss out on a Ryder Cup wildcard pick - it's a birdie start. A five-footer drained.

  13. How much is on offer?published at 10:58 BST

The total prize fund for this tournament is $9m (£6.6m).

For the winner, almost £1m is waiting on the 18th green.

And the chance to add their name to the history books alongside Shane Lowry, Luke Donald (twice) and Billy Horschel (twice).

  14. Postpublished at 10:52 BST

    McIlroy -10 (13)

Oof so close to yet another Rory McIlroy birdie over at the 13th.

He's at five under for his round and puts his hands on his knees as his long-range putt grazes the side of the cup.

  15. Tee-timespublished at 10:50 BST

For the fourth straight day, they are going out in three-balls. The organisers are worried about heavy storms forecast for this afternoon and want this boxed off.

Maybe we'll be done in time for the Manchester derby later?!

Here's who is coming up in the next half hour.

10:40 BST Ludvig Aberg, Joaquin Niemann, Aaron Rai

10:50 Ewen Ferguson, Matt Fitzpatrick, Patrick Reed

11:00 Darren Fichardt, Harry Hall, Viktor Hovland,

11:10 Tyrrell Hatton, Alex Noren, Adrien Saddier

Instead of the usual suspects, Frenchman Adrien Saddier stormed up the board, his excellent seven-under 65 seeing him set the pace at -15.

Former champ Alex Noren joined him there, closing birdie-eagle on the par fives to put himself in prime position.

Best round of the day? Tyrrell Hatton - bogey free and an eight-under 64 to leave him two back.

  17. How we got herepublished at 10:43 BST

    Viktor HovlandImage source, Getty Images

Saturday started with Hideki Matusyama at the top, with Justin Rose, Ludvig Aberg and Viktor Hovland breathing down his neck.

    Well that changed.

Matsuyama and Rose plummetted, Aberg's challenge stuttered and, after a hot start, Hovland dropped three shots off the lead.

  18. Birdie blitz for Rahmpublished at 10:41 BST

    Rahm -11 (6)

Jon Rahm is off to a flyer this morning. The Spaniard opened with three successive birdies and has just rolled in another on the sixth to catapult up the leaderboard.

And, of course, from a European Ryder Cup perspective, great to see him making a big move.

  19. Where are the Ryder Cup stars?published at 10:39 BST

    Rory McIlroyImage source, Getty Images

If captain Luke Donald was searching for encouragement, there had not been masses to cheer this week.

However, that could be changing on day four.

The team's two big beasts Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm are on the charge so far today, and up into the top 10.

Too late to challenge? Perhaps - but set a clubhouse lead and see what happens.

  20. The top fivepublished at 10:38 BST

    -15 Saddier, Noren

    -13 Hatton

    -12 Hovland

    -11 Fichardt

But some of the big guns are on the move...
