Let's take a look at who leads the pack with the bookies then.

Johnnywho will start the final race of day three at the Festival at 9-2 with Walking On Air priced at 6-1.

Anyone called Tara out there? Music Of Tara will start the race priced at a tasty 20-1.

Could another emotional winner be written in the stars today?

Marine Nationale and Jazzy Matty both claimed poignant victories at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday, two years after winning here for jockey Michael O'Sullivan, who died in a fall last month.

And today Michael's brother Alan will ride Walking On Air in the concluding Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Chase.

Although the Gary Brown-trained horse fell last time, he boasts some good form and is likely to go off as one of the favourites.

The horses are being paraded around the paddock and I have to say that Mint Boy does look brilliant. Very calm!

The final race of the day is another which is limited to amateur riders and the presence of Alan O’Sullivan, the younger brother of the late Michael O’Sullivan, among the riders means it will be an emotional affair.

O’Sullivan has his first Cheltenham ride on board Walking on Air with the eight year old, trained in Wiltshire by Gary Brown, unlucky when he fell at the last fence in his last run out at Doncaster in January but will need to bounce back from that although he is well fancied.

There are some experienced jockeys in this one, including Derek O’Connor and Patrick Mullins who have both enjoyed previous Festival success

O’Connor bids for a seventh Festival win when he partners Johnnywho for Jonjo and AJ O’Neill while Mullins rides Sa Majeste for his father Willie.

Winning jockey Jonjo O'Neill on ITV Racing: "He's a huge horse who always had ability but his jumping had been his Achilles heel. The boys [trainers Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero] have done a magnificent job. Fences have been the making of him.

"It is a job I really enjoy and it is fantastic. Had my first Festival win about six years ago but a month ago after Michael O'Sullivan died I had a different perspective on life.

"It was really upsetting to lose Springwell Bay earlier.

"I wore a Cork wristband in honour of Mikey today. The English and Irish lads have been under a massive cloud since his death.

"Michael touched so many people and you can tell by the way people are how upsetting it is. We are all thinking of him and his family. He was a good rider and a good friend. I said a few prayers to him for a hand and he has come up trumps.

"It has been a mental week and poignant and Michael has had a very fitting tribute and it is very deserved."

If you could just see the way my eldest has been so excited to come to the racecourse, you wish you could just bottle that up. There's just something in the air.

You might not win but you'll go home knowing you've had a great day.

The Jagwar had a bit more bite.

He won a novice handicap at a previous meeting, it's great practice for Festival form. He had a really good trip throughout, once he got to Thecompanysargeant he really asserted himself.

Jagwar keeps his special form going. He's only been beaten once this year and was well placed all through that race to push on strong at the end.

And push on strong he did!
