Two to jump, it's very tight between the remaining 11 runners.
A real chance for a strong late finisher here. But who will it be?

Teahupoo did amazingly well to avoid that faller, a very quick sidestep. Light on his feet. He's in a lovely position.

Rocky's Diamond has taken the lead from Gowel Road.
Lucky Place is still third.

Two fallers!
Crambo goes down heavily, and brings down Home By The Lee.
Home By The Lee crashed through the running rail too. We hope they are both ok.

Teahupoo is three wide and taking no chances, doesn't want to get interfered with.

Seven to jump, all 13 starters are still with us.
Gowel Road still leads. Bob Olinger is the backmarker currently.

Heavy rainclouds are gathering again over Cheltenham. Will this prove a stormy race?
Lucky Place, one of the favourites, is going in third behind the early pacesetters.

Gowel Road has moved into the early lead, from Rocky's Diamond.
Long way to go.

Gordon Elliott also has The Wallpark, who has been very consistent. Nicky Henderson has got Lucky Place and he is a real street fighter. Fourth in the Coral Cup last year.

And we are off!

The jockeys are being more patient here, slowly taking their rides in a circle. They will want to avoid the flurry of false starts we saw earlier.

A word of warning for those following this race - the jockeys of Teahupoo and Bob Olinger have virtually identical silks on.
The only difference is that Teahupoo's Jack Kennedy is wearing a pink cap with a black star, while Rachael Blackmore on Bob Olinger has a black cap with a pink star.

Teahupoo, the defending champion, will go off as favourite again in the 2025 Stayers' Hurdle.
The Wallpark and Lucky Place are also well backed.

Once you've been here the first time, it's somewhere you want to come again. It's the best of the best and a wonderful place.
Maybe being on the receiving end of tackles does seem a lot easier than falling off a horse at 30mph! It just brings back that we want the jockeys and the borse to come back OK after the race.

Teahupoo is a strong favourite but Gordon Elliott also has The Wallpark in there as well.
We don't see Teahupoo very often and his trainer says that's the key. He's better fresh.

There were 15 horses entered for this race, but only 13 start.
Langer Dan and Monmiral are non-runners.

Defending champion Teahupoo won in good style last year and bids for a repeat for jockey Jack Kennedy and trainer Gordon Elliott
His only run this season saw him finish second behind Lossiemouth in the Hattons Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse in December but Elliott knows he runs best fresh.
The biggest challenge could come from stablemate The Wallpark, a winner here in October and who will be the mount of Mark Walsh
Home By The Lee runs in this race for a fourth time hoping for a first success while Lucky Place steps up in trip and could be a danger.

Imperious from Fact to File, but the performance of The New Lion will stay with me for a while. I've backed seven winners so far.

Fact To File's trainer Willie Mullins, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra: "He blew them away. Mark [Walsh] said he just travelled and travelled. He was struggling to pull him up. He just moved up beside Il Est Francais and locked on. He just had to navigate the last two fences.
"He's definitely a Gold Cup horse. Imagine if we get an entry into the Gold Cup next year, all being well, we'll run in it."

I would love to know the size of the heart he has in that chest of his.
The last fence almost got in his way, when he landed he got away from it so quickly. It was extraordinary.
