Hello! Welcome to Sportsday. The Champions League continues at full speed this evening, but before we race ahead and look at Chelsea and Manchester City's ties, how about some early morning reflection?

Let's start with Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers who has defended his team selection for the Champions League loss at Real Madrid after being accused of "throwing in a white towel".

Did Liverpool wave the white flag even before kick-off against Real Madrid? Did Arsenal blow their chance of finishing top of their Champions League group? Will Manchester City avoid another early group-stage exit? Will Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho follow Brendan Rodgers and rest key players? Maybe. Yes. Possibly. Who knows.
