    The Cyprus Referees' Association has said its members will boycott all domestic cup and league matches for one week in retaliation to a midnight bomb attack at the home of a referee's mother.

    Association chief Michalis Argyrou says they are fed up following the fourth bomb attack of the season, and who can blame them!

    Sampdoria reveal striker Stefano Okaka was sent home from training earlier after a row with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

    "Stefano Okaka was dismissed from Gloriano Mugnaini (training ground) for inappropriate behaviour towards the coach," the club said in a statement.

    They added that any disciplinary action would be decided following a meeting between Okaka and club directors.

    Rochdale midfielder Stephen Dawson says he has been to "hell and back" after spot-fixing charges were dropped.

    Dawson was one of 13 players arrested in April but the Crown Prosecution Service has now dismissed the case because of insufficient evidence but Dawson says the experience was "the worst nine months" of his life.

    Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta accuses Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti of telling a "white lie" over their interest in midfielder Paul Pogba.

    "Ancelotti asked me some questions about Pogba,' he told Sky Italia. "He says he's not interested? Well, that's a white lie. I'm sure he has his reasons to say it's not true."

    Marussia boss John Booth is hopeful the team can put together a rescue deal in time for them to take part in the first race of the new F1 season.

    The team have been in administration since last October and missed the final three races of 2014.

    But Booth said the team were "at a fairly advanced stage with a new investor - a credible investor".

    A planned auction of the team's 2014 cars, which they would need to race in Australia on 15 March, has been halted.

    Welsh athletes Rhys Williams and Gareth Warburton were "at fault or negligent" in failing to check supplements they took contained banned substances, a UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) official report says.

    Rhys Williams, 30, received a suspension of four months and Gareth Warburton, 31, six months after failing drugs tests.

    But the report says the two Welsh athletes, who have served their bans, had not knowingly taken anything containing the prohibited substances.

    England have recalled Rebecca Grundy and Laura Marsh for the team's tour of New Zealand next month.

    Warwickshire left-arm spinner Grundy has recovered from a groin injury, while Kent's off-spinning all-rounder Marsh is back after a shoulder problem.

    Charlotte Edwards will captain the 15-player squad for a series including five one-dayers and three Twenty20s.
