Australia's Marinko Matosevic awaits Andy Murray in the second round, a game that will take place on Wednesday and which you can follow live on the BBC Sport website.

Matosevic is unlikely to be a pushover - he was ranked a career-high 39 last year and is sure to have plenty of support from a partisan home crowd.

Andy Murray, wearing a very natty lime green top, has made a solid start Down Under at the first tennis Grand Slam of the year.

The Scot was on court at 02:00 GMT in Melbourne to take on India's Yuki Bhambri and took two hours 12 minutes to win in straight sets 6-3 6-4 7-6 (7-3).

Murray, 27, had a spot of bother in the third set - when he had to recover from 4-1 down - but was otherwise untroubled.

"I thought it was a good start," said the man in green. "I served very well the whole match and hopefully I'll get a little bit better."
