Celebrating his 46th birthday today is Andrei Kanchelskis. Given how quick the former Manchester United, Everton and Rangers winger was, he could probably still flash past the odd Premier League full-back even now.
Also blowing out candles today are former Czech tennis player Petr Korda (47), Lancashire seam bowler Glen Chapple (41), Bayern Munich and Holland forward Arjen Robben (32) and former Wales and Lions centre Scott Gibbs (44).

However the FA have contacted the governing body to confirm that they "don't consider U21 games as official matches".
In the first Asian Cup quarter-final of the day, Iraq beat Iran 7-6 on penalties in Canberra after a 3-3 draw. They will face South Korea next in Sydney on Monday.
Pooria Jafereh, of BBC Persian, reports: "Iran and Iraq is never a dull affair. However the Asian Cup quarter-final in Canberra was one match that will last long in the memory of all football fans in the region. This game truly had everything - six goals, nine cautions, a controversial red card and a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
"Carlos Queiroz, Iran's head coach and former Manchester United number two, said after the game that he thought the red card for defender Mehrdad Pooladi in the 43rd minute changed the complexion of the game.
"For Iraq, they can start dreaming of winning the trophy for the second time. For Iran, this will be hard to digest. Iranian fans will be hugely disappointed. Not getting to the semi-finals will always be looked upon as a failure for a team who have won the cup three times."
GS Webster:, external Arsenal, having beaten the Premier League champions, to then lose to Brighton. Wouldn't bet against it.
Jon Evans:, external The biggest cup shock will be Villa beating Bournemouth! The second biggest will be Villa getting a goal.
Here's the statistic that everyone is talking about ahead of Sunday's meeting at Villa Park - in all competitions, Bournemouth have scored as many goals in Birmingham this season (eight) as Aston Villa have.
The United Arab Emirates caused an upset by beating holders Japan on penalties in their Asian Cup quarter-final in Sydney earlier.
Here's some context and analysis from Mohamed El-Sayed, of BBC Arabic, who is at the tournament in Australia:
"UAE's coach Mehdi Ali has achieved the goal he set for his team before the start of the championship - to reach the semi-finals. This is the first time the UAE have made it this far in 19 years.
"The Emiratis were not affected by the 19,000 noisy Japanese fans who came to support their team in Sydney. Japan failed in their attempt to defend their title as their most famous stars, Milan's Keisuke Honda and former Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa, missed their spot-kicks."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said during his press conference that captain John Terry will be rested for tomorrow's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Bradford and that Petr Cech will start in goal.
And asked about the possibility of his side doing the quadruple this season - winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup - he responded: "Impossible."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "I don't think momentum is important. When you play big matches against the best opponents, momentum means nothing. The momentum is about the 90 minutes of the game."
Mourinho has also played down reports of Mohamed Salah being allowed to leave for Roma, as he prepares for tomorrow's FA Cup fourth-round home tie against Bradford: "Salah is selected for tomorrow. Schurrle is the same. He's selected for tomorrow. I like them, I need them and I trust them. I can only play 11 players. Salah is not playing a lot, Schurrle slightly more, but they have played for us in every competition. I count on them."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, asked if he would look to bring someone in if players such as Mohamed Salah and Andre Schurrle left, says: "Yes."
But asked if Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado is the man marked to come in, he says: "There are not men marked. I think he fits well in Fiorentina's squad and Colombia's squad, not in Chelsea's squad."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho on the prospect of Andre Schurrle being allowed to leave in the transfer window: "The principle is that we would like him to stay. The question is not whether he is allowed to go or not. The question is not whether we get a good offer. The question is whether we have a phenomenal offer and for the player to be super-keen to accept a new challenge in his career, because we don't want to sell our players."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho on potential January transfer activity: "Our desire is to keep the same squad. We are happy with the players and the work we did in the summer to prepare for the season. If possible, we don't want to be involved in the transfer window. If we are, it's because someone pushed us into it with an offer for our players."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is giving a press conference ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup tie against Bradford: "My team tomorrow reflects the fact that if we lose the game, we are out, and if we draw, we have to go to Bradford. We don't want to be out, and we don't want a second match against Bradford."
