Bolton Wanderers have signed Sporting Lisbon midfielder Simeon Slavchev on loan for the remainder of the season. Is he better than Jay Spearing? I haven't the foggiest.

Crystal Palace
When is a done deal not a done deal? Embarrassing for someone in the Crystal Palace press office as they now say that a deal for Wilfried Zaha is not now done.
The club - who had quotes from Zaha talking about the move on on their website briefly - say a deal is close but the paperwork is yet to be finalised.
Barring a disaster you'd imagine that one will still go through. We have all sorts of time.
Andre Schurrle cost Chelsea £18m in the summer of 2013 and scored 14 goals in all competitions for the club. He fell behind Willian in the pecking order this season though and has moved back to Germany.
That should see Colombian Juan Cuadrado join Chelsea from Fiorentina.
Chelsea
This could be the start of the domino effect. German forward Andre Schurrle has completed a £22m move to Wolfsburg.
Here we go - some major news now...
German Bundesliga side Mainz 05 tweet that 23-year-old Serbian attacking midfielder Filip Djuricic has joined Southampton on loan.
Djuricic is a Benfica player, but has been on loan at Mainz 05 this season.
You'd have to give Ronald Koeman an A+ for his dealings in the transfer market so far. We shall see about this one...
Oxford United have signed winger Alex MacDonald from fellow League Two club Burton Albion for an undisclosed fee.
BBC Radio Oxford reports the 24-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, while defender Tareiq Holmes-Dennis has been recalled from his loan spell by Charlton Athletic.
Man Utd
Will Darren Fletcher still be a Manchester United player at the end of today? The Scotland midfielder, who turned 31 on Sunday, was in talks with West Ham about moving to Upton Park after being granted a free transfer. But Hammers boss Sam Allardyce announced on Saturday the deal had collapsed.
United boss Louis van Gaal thought Fletcher would leave but claimed West Ham only wanted the player on loan. What are the chances of the Hammers reviving the deal before 23:00 GMT?
Tottenham
If there's one man who has got a deadline day move written all over him, it's got to be Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Behind Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado in the pecking order, he and his hefty wage packet could well be on the move before bedtime.
However, our reporter Ben Smith reports that a proposed move to West Ham has stalled.
Loftus Road? Got to be...
Have the Red Devils finally been able to get rid of Anderson? Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has posted a picture of himself with midfielder Anderson on his Instagram account with the message, "Good luck in Brasil".
Anderson's departure has not yet been confirmed.

BBC Sport's Roddy Forsyth: "We wait to see if Celtic will increase their offers for the Dundee United pair of Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong. Mackay-Steven has already signed a pre-contract deal with Celtic but the Scottish champions offered United £150,000 to take the Scotland winger now. That was rejected, as was an offer of £1.6 million for Armstrong, who has also been a target for Burnley.
"St Mirrren midfielder, Kenny McLean, who has also been watched by English clubs, is on his way to Aberdeen after the clubs agreed a fee - and Celtic have signed Derry winger, Michael Duffy, having agreed an undisclosed fee with his former club."
With clubs up and down the country looking for a bargain, today we're asking you: What is your value in the transfer market? And what would it take to convince you to join your rivals?
Craig, Leeds: Free to good home. Diminutive striker 5,6" fox in the box type forward capable of 0-60 metres in about 4 1/2 minutes. Preferred position bench warmer. Able to play all of injury time when required (unless its Fergie time). Large wage not required, but I do expect a birthday cake on the 8th April each year.
Nick, Twyford: I played in goal just once, and we won 13-0. Way better than Joe Hart's average, and I will play for half his wages. PS I am 51 and 5 foot 7.

That is probably the biggest move of the day so far. Enigmatic, but a match winner on his day, are Palace fans happy to have Wilfried Zaha back at Selhurst Park?
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have re-signed winger Wilfried Zaha on a permanent deal from Manchester United.
The 22-year-old cost United £15m two years ago but is back in south London after signing a mega five-and-a-half-year contract. Big business.

Gav, London: Mid 20s, 5'10, medium framed fullback/versatile utility man. Changing room joker (think Gazza but a tad more tame). Average pace, below average talent. Silky feet with a tendency to tackle oneself. Loves a World Cup pass, never shies from a challenge and sticks his head in amongst the boots often. Once scored a rabona at 7-a-sides that was more David Dunn than Erik Lamela. Currently unattached, lacking match fitness at present (ie. won't run for a bus these days). Looking for PL, Championship team but may consider lower for the right side. Wage demands- enough for a post match pint and a curry.

Midfielders Chris David and Thomas Eisfeld have both left Championship club Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.
Netherlands-born David has joined Dutch side FC Twente, while Eisfeld is back in his native Germany with Bochum.
US soccer writer Michael Lewis has just tweeted this:, external Breaking: #RBNY, @Tim_Cahill reach mutual agreement that Australian international will leave the team.
Could Cahill be back damaging corner flags in the Premier League soon? I'm sure Everton fans would take him back.
Reports suggest China is his destination though...
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the coda of the January transfer window. On a normal year this is one of the most exciting, adrenaline-filled evenings at BBC Sport.
Today? A ghost town.
But hang on, there are still plenty of moves 'in the pipeline'...
Hello?
Anybody? It's deadline day you know?
Where are all the moves?!
I woke up to news that Robert Huth had joined Leicester. It's STILL the only confirmed move in the Premier League...
Hmmm, I wonder which year would win the vote for 'worst deadline day'? This one has to be right up there, you would think.
Anyhow, it is time for me to hand over to Tom Rostance to take you through the next few hours. With a bit of luck he will have a signing or two to talk about this evening...
