    British Olympic medallist Anthony Ogogo has suffered a setback in his recovery from Achilles surgery.

    The 26-year-old had hoped to continue his career as an unbeaten professional in February, but has needed another operation to clear infected tissue.

    He will be sidelined for a further six to 12 months.

    "Theoretically I'm now left with two new Achilles and I've got to work on them and build them," the Lowestoft middleweight told BBC Radio Suffolk. "I can't wait to get back in the ring and start punching people."

    Torquay have already sold 700 tickets for the away section of the Launa Windows Stadium and FC United believe over 1,000 supporters will make the 530-mile round trip.

    FC United have been involved in two of the three highest attendances in this season's competition. The highest was 3,505 for Bristol Rovers' first round home defeat by Bath.

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez has indicated new loan signing Aaron Lennon could be thrown straight into action in Saturday's Merseyside derby clash with Liverpool at Goodison Park.

    Ahead of Tuesday night's FA Cup fourth-round replay at Manchester United, Cambridge United manager Richard Money says his side may have to accept that a moment of magic from the home side could prove the difference.

    Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes Welsh winger Gareth Bale is having a "fantastic season" and has called on his critics to relax.

    Bale has been questioned in the Spanish press in recent weeks for being too selfish but he has been defended by his manager.

    "Bale is doing everything to help the team. He did very well last year, scoring in all the finals we played," said the Italian on Tuesday. "He is having a fantastic season and we are at ease because he is playing well for the team.

    England Women's leading goalscorer Kelly Smith has ended her international career.

    The 36-year-old forward won 117 caps and scored 46 goals in an England career that lasted almost 20 years.

    She made her debut in 1995 and has played in two World Cups and three European Championships, as well as for Team GB at the 2012 London Olympics.

    Smith, who has played professional football in the United States, will continue to play for Arsenal Ladies in the Women's Super League.

    Visually-impaired teenager Millie Knight and her guide Jen Kehoe have won their second giant slalom race at the IPC Skiing World Cup finals in St Moritz to secure the World Cup title in the event.

    The pair had won Monday's first race and were the only ones of the three pairs to finish Tuesday's second race.

    Knight, 16, carried the GB flag at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Paralympics, and competed in the slalom and giant slalom events in Sochi, finishing fifth in both with guide Rachael Ferrier.
