"He's been missed, there's no question of that," he said. "He'll be hungry to play and that's obviously very dangerous for us.

"I think he walked round the back of the goal in the first tie and got a huge reception from the Bolton fans. Speaking to the chairman about him, he said he was fantastic here so I think he'll get a nice reception. But if he scores that might change a little bit."

"It will be a tough game for us. We have a big month coming up and we want to continue in the cup competitions as well as keeping the momentum going in the league.

    Cricket

    AB De Villiers

The epitome of the modern, three-format batsman, De Villiers can destroy an attack with classical strokeplay, ingenuity and raw power. The fastest man to 7,000 ODI runs, but that record is nothing compared with the devastation wreaked on the West Indies on 18 January. A 16-ball fifty, a 31-ball century, both the fastest in ODIs, in an innings of 149 in 44 balls that contained a record-equalling 16 sixes. De Villiers has also claimed 97 dismissals on occasions when he has played as wicketkeeper-batsman.

BBC Sport's chief football writer Phil McNulty asks whether the former Tottenham boss has lost his sparkle.

"Just five wins all season - and an horrendous run of 11 straight league defeats away from Loftus Road - tell the story," writes McNulty.
