  10. Falcao will take a year to adaptpublished at 09:50 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2015

Louis Saha thinks it could take a full year for Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao to adapt to the English game.

Falcao arrived at Old Trafford on loan from Monaco last summer with a reputation as one of the most feared strikers on the planet, but six months on he has scored just four goals.

Saha said: "When you are in a different formation or different management then you have to adapt. It could take three months, six months or maybe a year before you understand it. It happens to even the best players.

"Falcao is under pressure because of his contract. As a striker you want to score. When there is that amount of money involved you are under pressure."

Paul Canoville, the first black player to play for Chelsea, has been reacting to the video that appears to show fans preventing a black man from boarding a Paris train last night.

"The fans know who they are and they need to let the authorities know. This is not what we want. For me as a black player, it hurt."

  20. Alonso walks in drab affairpublished at 08:59 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2015

It wasn't just Chelsea in Champions League action last night.

Bayern Munich met Shakhtar Donetsk in the last-16, and it proved a miserable night for Bayern midfielder Xabi Alonso - sent off in his 100th Champions League game.

    AlonsoImage source, Getty Images

To say the match was a drab affair is putting it mildly. In fact - and this is for those who like their stats - Bayern had one shot on target, the fewest they have recorded in any game in all competitions since October 2012.

The sides meet again in Munich on 11 March when, we hope, it will be a darn sight better.
