You would think Dimitar Berbatov should be used to the chilly north London weather following his time at Tottenham. Not so. The Monaco striker hid under this thick snood as the principality side trained before tonight's Champions League tie at Arsenal.

And 34-year-old Berbatov, who has first-hand experience of Arsene Wenger's men from his spells at Tottenham, Manchester United and Fulham, admits the French Ligue 1 team are the underdogs.

"Arsenal are favourites, but we've come here to get a good result," says the Bulgarian. "Each match is different. We'll have a good chance if we play as a team. We'll have to be very switched on to exploit any mistakes they make."

"Recital con indulto!" screams the headline. A popular internet translation tells us that it means "Recital with pardons".

In everyday English, we'd suggest that means something along the lines of ex-Liverpool striker Suarez earned redemption on his return to England with an excellent performance.

    Barcelona

Now our Catalan isn't the greatest - but we understand that the headline in Sport - Barcelona's daily sports newspaper - is hailing Luis Suarez's clinical finishing against Manchester City.

Fourteen of those were on target, and four ended up in the back of the net as Brentford thrashed Blackpool, who had a player sent off at the end of the first half, by a 4-0 margin.
