    London Irish winger Alex Lewington has caught the attention of England head coach Stuart Lancaster, according to Exiles interim boss Glenn Delaney.

    The 23-year-old has scored two hat-tricks this season and is joint-second in the list of Premiership try scorers, with eight scores for the Exiles.

    "He's certainly grabbing the attention of Stuart Lancaster, which is right - he's on great form," Delaney told BBC Radio Berkshire. "Alex has got a huge amount of talent. He's improving and learning a lot."

    Promotion-chasing League One side Bradford have already beaten Premier League leaders Chelsea and Sunderland on the way to the last eight.

    So Championship strugglers Reading should be a piece of cake, right? Of course not, says Bantams boss Phil Parkinson.

    "Reading have a lot of players with Premier League and international experience, we're just looking forward to testing ourselves," he says.

    The Valley Parade pitch should not be a problem for either Bradford or Reading in Saturday's quarter-final tie, says Bantams boss Phil Parkinson.

    Sunderland boss Gus Poyet labelled the pitch as "one of the worst in the country", external after his side's defeat there in the last 16.

    "Reading's pitch isn't in great condition either, they'll be used to playing on a heavy pitch. But the weather up here in Yorkshire is good," says Parkinson.

    Jonas Gutierrez has described his first-team return for Newcastle United after being given the all-clear from testicular cancer in November as like "a new debut".

    Argentina international Gutierrez made his first Magpies appearance since April 2014 as a substitute against Manchester United on Wednesday.

    "It was really emotional and really exciting," Gutierrez told BBC Newcastle. "I was so emotional when I put my feet on the pitch. I've travelled a long way to get to this point and I really enjoyed it.

    "I thank the fans for their support and also my team-mates. It was a great moment for me."

    England's summer friendly against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin will kick-off at 13:00 GMT on Sunday 7 June, announce the Football Association of Ireland.

    The two nations will meet at the Aviva Stadium ahead of the European Championship qualifiers later that month.

    Following discussions with The FA and the Garda, English fans have also been allocated 3,000 tickets for the fixture.

    England have not played in the Republic since 1995, when a friendly had to be abandoned because of rioting fans at Lansdowne Road.
