Already your tales of promotion glory are flooding in, but first a quick ping around the papers.

Back to Spain, and clearly that Gareth Bale missed chance early in Real's 0-0 draw at Atletico is the motif of the morning.

The Welshman was clear through on goal in the third minute but missed what ultimately proved to be the best opening of a brawling Champions League quarter-final first leg.

It was a busy night in the Football League yesterday and although fans of Bournemouth, Norwich and Middlesbrough may still feel a little queasy, Bristol City supporters are celebrating.

City hammered Bradford 6-0 at Valley Parade last night to earn at least second place in League One, and there's one particularly vocal fan in our office who'll be no doubt reminding us throughout the day.

But this morning we'd like to hear your promotion memories...

'The Oblak Wall' - that's how the Spanish press have it this morning.

After the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final last night, city rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are level at 0-0, thanks in no small part to Jan Oblak, Atleti's Slovenian goalkeeper.

Today we'll bring you all the reaction to last night's European matches while also looking ahead to tonight's offerings, as Paris Saint-Germain host Barcelona and Bayern Munich travel to FC Porto.

Plus naturally we'll bring you all the breaking news, debate and insight on a very busy Sportsday.
