    Windsor Park West Stand

The Irish Football Association has been advised to demolish the damaged West Stand at Windsor Park in a preliminary structural report, BBC Northern Ireland understands.

The stadium has been closed since cracks were discovered in the stand following Northern Ireland's Euro 2016 qualifier victory against Finland.

The venue is scheduled to host a qualifier against Romania on 13 June.

The IFA told the BBC it is studying the findings of the preliminary report.

It's not all Premier League this weekend though. Oh no.

Reading manager Steve Clarke says his side must "play the perfect game" if they are to beat Arsenal in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The Royals take on the holders of the competition and Clarke is aware of the difficult task his side face.

However, he believes the Championship club can cause an upset and reach their first ever FA Cup final.

"We have to play well, the perfect game with no mistakes and have to find a way to score a goal," Clarke told the BBC.

"In football anything is possible, it's 11 versus 11. If we can play to our maximum then we have a chance to go through."

  3. Ideye doubtful for West Brompublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

    Tony PulisImage source, PA

We've also got West Brom manager Tony Pulis, who's preparing his side for a trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Brown Ideye is doubtful for this weekend's game due to a knee injury he picked up in training this week.

The Nigerian striker will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the trip to Selhurst Park.

"Browny has got a little bit of a knock so we're not sure if he will be fit to start or not," Pulis said. "We're hoping that he will be."

Nigel Pearson and Ronald Koeman have returned to whence they came but we'll be hearing from Swansea manager Garry Monk and Burnley boss Sean Dyche later this afternoon as well.

Interesting words from Koeman on Jay Rodriguez. The Dutchman said he wouldn't be rushed back, and rightly so. A real shame Rodriguez has been out for so long, just after breaking into the England team.

    Next season then for Jay?

  5. Seven games until safety?published at 14:27 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

Back to Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "We've got to make sure our run-in is what we want it to be. Our performances must be what we expect of ourselves.

"Other results only matter if you do your own job. If we can apply pressure by improving our own chances, all well and good."

  6. Saints for the Champions League?published at 14:24 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

And can Southampton make top four?

Koeman says: "If we win all [remaining games], it'll be a good chance to finish fourth - but that will be difficult. At the moment, we have to focus on fifth, sixth and seventh places in the table."

  7. Stoke the league's strong boyspublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

More from Southampton manager Ronald Koeman, this time on Stoke, their opponents on Saturday: "This season they've brought in some good technical players. If you mention only direct play, it's not respectful.

"It's a strong team - maybe the strongest in the league."

We assume the Dutchman is talking physical prowess here...

  8. Jay Rodriguez close to training return?published at 14:19 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is also out before the press.

He's been talking first about Jay Rodrdiguez, who he hopes to have back in training next week.

The 25-year-old ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in April last year, and suffered a setback in his recovery before Christmas.

  9. Belief and couragepublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

More from Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "We've had some bad luck, but the belief of the group has kept us going. It takes courage to keep standards high.

"The atmosphere at our last home game was fantastic. Fans have a part to play, but we have to give them something to believe in."

Leicester are bottom of the Premier League table, three points from safety, but won both of their last two matches, against West Ham and West Brom.

    Glazer familyImage source, Reuters

Manchester United's controversial American owners are not "ogres" but a "down to earth close-knit family", according to the man responsible for managing their public image during their takeover of the club 10 years ago.

The Glazers, led by their late billionaire businessman father Malcolm, bought United for £790m in a leveraged deal in May 2005, which immediately put the club into £660m of debt.

A decade on, with the club worth £1.8bn and debt halved to £380.5m, Tehsin Nayani has detailed his six-year relationship with the secretive family, who have not given an extensive interview in almost 10 years, in his book 'The Glazer Gatekeeper'.

  16. Redknapp would consider 'right offer'published at 13:29 British Summer Time 16 April 2015

    Harry RedknappImage source, Getty Images

Former QPR boss Harry Redknapp says he would consider another managerial job if the right offer came his way.

The 68-year-old handed in his resignation at Loftus Road in February, citing knee problems, although he later claimed "people with their own agendas" had a hand in his departure.

"It is difficult to know whether you want to go back in again, but if the right offer came along for the right job then I would consider it, because I do love the game and certainly do miss it," Redknapp told Press Association Sport.

"It has got to be something which I really wanted to do. It would not be a case of the money. I had an offer earlier this week to go and work abroad where the money was incredible, a mind-blowing offer, but at the moment it did not interest me."

The 37-year-old seamer injured his calf in the county champions' opening victory against Worcestershire.

Meanwhile, Moxon is confident that batsman Aaron Finch will be fit to join up with the county in May.

The Australian suffered a hamstring injury playing for Mumbai Indians against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday and is set to miss the whole IPL campaign.

Champions Hearts' home game against second-placed Rangers had been moved to Sunday, 3 May by the Scottish Professional Football League.

But both Hibernian, who are third, and Hearts believed this jeopardised "sporting integrity", as Rangers could know the result they needed to secure a league placing.

"We can draw some inspiration from the journey that he went on with his team."
