    'I admire Pellegrini's approach to football'published at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

Watford v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)

So what about Guus Hiddink's own future at Chelsea and what does he think of Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini?

"It is up to Chelsea to decide what they do next," says Hiddink.

"I’ve not talked to or met Manuel Pellegrini. I admire his approach to football. He is a well balanced manager and I respect him, without knowing him."

The Premier League is beautiful - Hiddinkpublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

Watford v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)

Some great stuff from the Chelsea boss, now he moves on to his side's transfer window activity and the news that Pep Guardiola is set to replace Manuel Pellegrini as Manchester City manager.

"There is not much to say because we didn’t want to do much," says Hiddink when asked about the transfer window.

Moving on to Guardiola, Hiddink adds: "I think it is not big news. People expected it as soon as he said he was leaving Bayern and said he wanted to go to the Premier League.

"It is a very attractive league for younger managers to go to. It is beautiful. This will be a little bit different for him in England because there is no specific favourite like there is in Germany or Spain."

Dialogue is possible with Terry - Hiddinkpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

Watford v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)

Well, we weren't expecting this. Maybe John Terry has a future at Chelsea after all.

Boss Guus Hiddink adds: "The door is not shut - dialogue is always possible.

"He is very fit and he is not what you normally see from a 35-year-old player. Some feel they are getting a bit slower and cannot accept it.

"But there is none of that from John. He is fit. Regardless of the situation he and the club are in, he will be always very professional."

Terry still has an 'open door' at Chelsea - Hiddinkpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

Watford v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)

Pato may have come in, but in the last few days we have learned that captain John Terry will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Well, that's what we thought, but Guus Hiddink says John Terry may stay at the club.

"I respect his formal language and I like the way he is playing and committed to the team," says Hiddink.

"I have had conversations with him in the past days about all kinds of things. It was sad from John. He is entitled, after his contract expires at the end of the season, to make up his mind, that is true.

"I don't want to over-value the attention we are giving this but from the club side, I think they still want to have the dialogue to have an open door still. So it was a bit surprising (that he said what he did).

"There was no specific decision made this early. We have to see what is coming up in the transition of the manager as well."

Guus Hiddink news conferencepublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

Watford v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)

Guus Hiddink starts off his news conference by talking about new loan signing Alexandre Pato, who will be on loan with the club until the end of the season.

"I don’t know if he is still up to playing the game," says Hiddink. "We’ll decide later. He is in, let’s say, the preparation stage but not fully fit.

"The paperwork for the deal is done and formally he is available, but it is another thing physically and mentally. He has hardly done a full training session with the whole team."

A last snippet from the Steve McClaren chat with the media.

"If you’d said at the start of the window that we’d have signed two young top England internationals in Jonjo Shelvey and Andros Townsend, I wouldn’t have believed you," the Magpies gaffer said.

"Plus we've got two others, I’m delighted with what we’ve done and it shows the ambition of the board and the club.

"We talked about it in summer and we’ve carried it on in this window.

"We’ve got on with our business quietly. We’e got some very good players. It’s a statement of intent about what we want to do and we go forward now with some very good players."

Promoter Eddie Hearn says he understands why heavyweight Frank Bruno wants to return to boxing, but it would be a “travesty” to let him back in the ring.

Bruno, 54, who won the heavyweight world title in 1996, has revealed he would like to return.

But Bruno has had a long battle with bipolar after he was diagnosed in 2003.

“Frank is national institution. He needs help and support, but not through returning to boxing,” said Hearn. “He won the heavyweight world title. It would be a travesty to see him back in the ring."

The Magpies travel to Everton in the Premier League tomorrow but many of the questions are about the manager's transfer window business.

He added Roma and Ivory Coast forward Seydou Doumbia in a loan deal on deadline day, to make it four signings in January - with midfielders Jonjo Shelvey, Andros Townsend and Henri Saivet all arriving at the club.

Now there's a headline you don't see every day.

The virus was found in the Heath Isolation Unit, in a maiden filly which had arrived from overseas on 20 January and has been fully vaccinated.

The 500-acre National Stud site on the outskirts of Newmarket supports the thoroughbred breeding industry, with five stallions currently based there.

David Haye says he would not have a problem with Frank Bruno fighting again - as long as the 54-year-old was up against boxers of the same age.

Bruno, a former world heavyweight champion, announced on Monday that he wanted to get in the ring again.

He later tweeted that the British Boxing Board of Control would not grant him a licence.

Haye says Bruno should not be allowed to fight younger boxers but says a bout with other veterans may be an option.
