    Among those at Pittodrie were singer and Celtic fan Rod Stewart who might have been smiling before the game - but possibly not afterwards...

    In the night's other Premier League game, Chelsea's unbeaten run under Guus Hiddink extended to seven league matches with a 0-0 draw at Watford.

    The draw moves Chelsea up to 13th on 29 points, while Watford are four points and four places better off.

    First of all, let's catch up on what you might have missed last night...and Newcastle fans, look away now.

    Ross Barkley scored two late penalties as Everton beat Newcastle 3-0 to record a first home league win since November.

    Aaron Lennon was also on target as the Toffees claimed a first Premier League win since 26 December.

    Everton move up to 11th in the table, while Newcastle remain in the relegation zone in 18th place, two points from safety.
