Veteran striker Claudio Pizarro is already a legend at Werder Bremen and is now just one goal away from writing himself into the club's record books.
The 37-year-old is in his fourth spell with the Bundesliga side, including a loan stint from Chelsea in the 2008-09 season.
The most prolific foreign goalscorer in Bundesliga history, Pizarro became the oldest player to score a hat-trick in the German league in a midweek 4-1 win at Bayer Leverkusen.
And on Saturday, the Peru international, who returned to the Weserstadion from Bayern Munich last summer, notched with another spectacular effort as Werder Bremen beat relegation rivals Hannover 4-1 to continue their recent revival.
'Pizza' now has 12 goals in his last 11 games and needs just one more to equal the club record total of 101 scored by former Germany international Marco Bode, who helped Bremen win the Bundesliga title in 1993.

British Cycling's technical director Shane Sutton was asked about Mark Cavendish's chances of being selected for the Olympics in Rio later this year.
“I’ve said all along we’ll go back and look at the data. Cav’s shown real quality, and a turn of speed in the Madison but it’s one we need to sort with Mark," said Sutton.
"He wants to go there and medal but we weren’t quite in touch with where we’d like to have been in the Omnium. We’re going to sit down with him then we’ll let everyone know."
Asked if it was feasible for Cavendish to ride both the Tour de France and the Olympics, Sutton added: “For these endurance riders it’s easy to cross over. It’s not like riding the Tour for a few weeks is going to dampen his chances. I’m not worried about his preparation."

England defence coach Paul Gustard has refused to give away much when asked if Leicester's Manu Tuilagi could feature in Saturday's Six Nations match against Wales.
"Manu has played a limited amount of rugby, that’s for certain," he said.
"He’s obviously a very talented player and I think we just want to try and integrate him long term - irrespective of what happens in these remaining Six Nations matches it’s important that he gets integrated back into this new England.
"The more exposure he has within this environment will serve us better in the long term."

"In a career you'll never have only top moments, also your difficult times.

"Whatever your view of the whole project it's hard not to admire what Victoria Pendleton has achieved in the last year, showing guts aplenty to proceed from first riding lesson to competing on the biggest day of the jumps season.
"Money may well have changed hands to fund this potentially hazardous project, but her advisers surely wouldn't allow her to do it if they weren't sure.
"Sceptics fear a win - or indeed a fall - may overshadow the winner of the preceding Gold Cup, but these days the Festival is easily big enough to cope with both events, and rarely can its build-up have received so much coverage in all corners of the media."

The Football Association is open to trialling video technology in England games, says FA chief Martin Glenn.
Live experiments with video assistant referees are set to begin by the 2017-18 season after being voted in by the game's law maker, the International Football Association Board (IFAB).
"We will definitely offer it," said Glenn, when asked whether England games could be a testing ground.
England and Scotland are among 13 countries offering to help testing.
