14:08Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has been banned from the touchline for the final three La Liga games of the season.
The suspension was confirmed by the Spanish Football Federation on Wednesday after Simeone was sent to the stands at half-time in last Saturday's 1-0 win over Malaga.
It followed an incident when an extra ball was thrown onto the pitch from near the Atletico bench by a ball boy, in what appeared to be a case of gamesmanship.
The ban does not involve the Champions League and Simeone will be able to sit in the dugout for the two legs of the semi-final against Bayern Munich.
Atletico are second the La Liga table, level on points with leaders Barcelona, with three games to play.

BBC Sport at Team GB Olympics kit launch"Jodie Williams was kind enough to stop for me and strike a pose at the Team GB and Paralympics GB kit launch. She will of course be hoping to wear this kit over the sprints and relays in Rio come August.
"She told me it's comfortable. Tom Daley said he worked with Stella McCartney to make sure the designer got the cut of his trunks just right.
"And this is the official tracksuit top (below). It feels pretty soft and who knows, it could be seen on the podium many times. I asked if I could take one home but sadly I'll be empty handed.

Gareth Bale is confident Real Madrid will progress to the Champions League final after their 0-0 draw at Manchester City.
"We looked solid, we looked a threat on the counter and we were unlucky maybe not to get the goal and a few penalties.
"It was a little bit frustrating not to be able to score, but we got a clean sheet and we go back to the Bernabeu now very confident.
"Obviously we'd loved to have scored a goal, but it is not a bad result.
"We got a clean sheet and we go to the Bernabeu where we have a great record, where we score a lot of goals, very confident and we are looking forward to it."
football Kompany expects Man City to scorepublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 27 April 2016
13:53 BST 27 April 2016Football
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany thinks Real Madrid will not be comfortable with their 0-0 Champions League semi-final first leg draw in England last night.
"There about a million more disappointing results and 0-0, if it was an away game for me, I would not feel comfortable.
"We have a really good away record in the Champions League. We are still an offensive team and we are always looking to score goals.
"I wouldn't expect us not to score for 180 minutes. If we don't manage to score a goal what claims can we make for going to the final? So I expect us to score a goal, and if we do the game is going to be really interesting."
