    More on the news that Hull City have signed Ryan Mason from Tottenham.

    Mason had attracted interest from Sunderland but has opted to join former Spurs players Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore and Michael Dawson at the KCOM Stadium.

    Hull temporary boss Mike Phelan has targeted up to six new signings before the transfer window closes after starting the season with just 13 fit senior players.

    Goalkeeper David Marshall has already joined from Cardiff, whilst Manchester United's Will Keane is also expected to conclude a switch to the newly promoted side.

    Hull City have signed goalkeeper David Marshall from Cardiff City on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

    It is understood the deal for the 31-year-old could be worth up to £5m, depending on add-on clauses.

    He is the first player to join the Tigers since they secured promotion back to the Premier League in May.

    Cardiff executive director Ken Choo said that the club were "saddened to see him go", but added that "we felt it would be wrong to stand in the way of him moving back to the Premier League."
