Who should be the next permanent England manager?

Rob Page: We need to invest in youth both on and off the pitch. Eddie Howe is a no brainer. It's not like we can do any worse?

Glen HARDMAN: Disagree with Terry Butcher. England need the best manager we can get. Can Klopp or Guardiola not communicate with their players?

Ted Clarke: Hiddink for the interim to steady the ship. Then Marcello Lippi (if he would do it!) can't argue with that experience.

Leroy Rosenior? Ten minutes? Surely some mistake?

Well, no. He was appointed as manager of then-League Two club Torquay United in 2007, only for chairman Mike Bateson to agree to immediately sell 51% of the club to a consortium.
