    Daily Mirror

Many of the papers, including The Daily Mirror, have covered the weekend's World Cup qualifiers on their back pages this morning.

After their 2-0 win over Malta, England's interim manager Gareth Southgate said he "doesn't understand" booing of Wayne Rooney and many players have shown they have got their captain's back.

A recent dip in form has had fans feeling he doesn't deserve to be in the starting XI...

Elsewhere, Wales' 1-1 draw against Georgia, ranked 137th in the world has been described by manager Chris Coleman as a 'blip'...

"We've had a little slap around the back of the head to say, 'Hold on, it's not all plain sailing'," Coleman said.
