It is Blue Monday today - apparently the most depressing day of the year - so are you depressed or happy about your team?

Andy Metcalfe: I'm a Villa fan. Depressing: Gabby Agbonlahor and Alan Hutton are first-teamers. Cheerful: We don't have a game today, so we'll make it through Monday unbeaten.

Mark Palfreman: The fact that it's nearly February, time for the annual collapse at Arsenal, only to look like proper contenders a month later, when we're out of the title race proper.

Ruairi Sean Criscuolo: Everything about Crewe Alexandra football club is depressing me this year.

Dyche had no worries about re-signing Bartonpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2017

FA Cup third-round replay, Burnley v Sunderland (Tuesday, 19:45 GMT)

Burnley play their FA Cup third round replay against Sunderland tomorrow and Clarets boss Sean Dyche has been talking about midfielder Joey Barton.

Barton helped Burnley win promotion to the Premier League last season and has returned to the club, scoring the winning goal against Southampton on Saturday, after an unsuccessful spell at Rangers.

"He has been back in the group in the last few weeks and he has settled in," said Dyche. "He knows most of the staff and players and knows what we expect so I was never worried about that.

"To be fair, he has had an interesting life and he gets used to what comes with his life. He does not overthink it and just looks forward. He does not get an easy ride from fans and he is used to it, so I don't think he worries about it, he just thinks what he can do for the team."

Young linked with move to China

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

Manchester United winger Ashley Young is the latest Premier League player to be targeted by the Chinese Super League.

Young is attracting interest from Shandong Luneng.

The former England man was the subject of interest from the Premier League last month, although there has been no suggestion Jose Mourinho is willing to part with the 31-year-old.

Young has played only five times since September and was not involved in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

However, he completed the full 90 minutes against Reading in the FA Cup third round and seems unlikely to be sold until the summer.
