Middlesbrough are in talks to sign Jese Rodriguez, 23, from Paris St-Germain on loan until the end of the season.

Jese joined PSG from Real Madrid last summer for £21 million due to lack of first-team football in the final year of his contract.

As a kid at Real Madrid he was billed as the new Raul, the club legend who scored 323 goals in Madrid. He was considered to be one of their best prospects in many years.

He broke the scoring record of 'the vulture' Emilio Butragueno (one of their greatest players) in the Real youth system.

But an ACL injury in 2014 kept him out for nine months.

Boro's ability to pay his significant wages is thought to be the reason he's likely to join them ahead of other interested clubs including his home town team of Las Palmas.
