Collins asks Cope if his travel plans changed in any way or was he always asked to travel out to France on 12 June, the day that the Criterium ended?

"I think if memory serves me right i was always asked to go out on the 12th," says Cope.

"I didn't make the booking, it was made for me. I was asked to come out by my bosses at British Cycling/Team Sky.

"What you have to establish at this point is I had a job prior to this as women's academy coach until end of 2010. They then deemed there wasn't enough riders to take on to run an academy in 2011 so they made me women's road manager."

“I don’t know why," says Cope. "I don’t live in Eastbourne. It could well be where the ticket is bought. I don’t remember going to Manchester on 8 June.

"From my memory, I collected a package, I went home, I went to London the Saturday night to watch a women’s race, went back to Gatwick, stayed in a hotel, got on a plane and flew to France."

Cope is asked whether he made a trip to Manchester to pick up the package which he delivered to France.

"I was based in Manchester, my job role was in Manchester. I was in Manchester at that time and I was asked to pick the package up and bring it out to the Dauphine. I had an apartment there.

"I went home at weekends but I was based in Manchester."

"I was asked to go out to the Dauphine to help in a logistics role and asked if I could bring this package."

Semi final of the cup, 5 mins to play with the scores level, I score the winner with an intentional hand ball, ref doesn't spot it. Ashamed to say I was not sporting and claimed the goal which sent us through to the final which we then won. No regrets.

About to interview England forwards coach Steve Borthwick and England skipper Dylan Hartley; will be interesting to hear what has been said in camp over the last 72 hours regarding the performance against Italy, with the Azzurri's "no ruck" tactics so flummoxing England's players.

I can't imagine there were many people backing Victor Moses to be one of the stars of Chelsea's charge towards the title this season.

But his reinvention as a wing-back under Antonio Conte has proved pivotal to the Italian's side.

Here's a little Victor Moses timeline...
