    It's not often you win £130 from a £1 bet at 11/1.

But that's exactly what happened to a family from Houston in Renfrewshire, who have cashed in a bet on Red Rum winning the Grand National 43 years ago - after discovering an unclaimed betting slip.

Bob Holmes found evidence of the £1 bet while going through his late father-in-law's paperwork.

Through a shop code, William Hill found that the bet had been placed at odds of 11-1, meaning a payout of £12.

But the firm decided to add inflation, making it £130.

After finishing second in their respective races at the Cheltenham Festival, both Fox Norton and Sub Lieutenant will hope to go one better in the Melling Chase, the big race of the day (15:25 BST) at Aintree.

The Colin Tizzard-trained Fox Norton was beaten narrowly by Special Tiara in the Queen Mother Champion Chase but steps up in trip for the 2m 4f race while Sub Lieutenant, from the Henry de Bromhead yard, was edged out by Un De Sceaux in the Ryanair Chase.

The pair are part of a field of nine for the race and last year's winner God's Own (pictured), who saw his Champion Chase hopes disappear with two bad mistakes, will aim for back-to-back wins for trainer Tom George.

The former Ireland centre said: "I never liked a front-rower, they're a different breed.

"I've criticised him before so I probably won't get abused by him for a second time so maybe John Hayes."

Middlesbrough v Burnley (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are yet to register a Premier League win in 2017, with their last league victory coming back in December.

Steve Agnew says his players are desperate to bounce back.

“The dressing room was very disappointed after the game on Wednesday, and communication goes a long way to putting the players in a positive frame of mind," he said.

“The players understand the frustrations and disappointment, and spirits are good.

“A lot of work has gone in from everybody, and we’ve had a good meeting this morning - the players are positive towards getting the three points we need.

“Three points brings us closer and puts pressure on elsewhere. Confidence comes with results, and that’s what we’re aiming for.

“The fighting spirit is still there and it will be evident on the pitch.”

After Jesse Lingard signed a new contract at Old Trafford until 2021, Jose Mourinho says it was important to get the deal sorted. When asked if he has been surprised by the 24-year-old, he said:

"No. He is a good player already. Because of his age and happiness in the work, he can be even better. He is English. Made in academy.

"These players are very important for clubs. It is a very important contract. I congratulate him and the board to agree with him and give stability to me. Important for me to know he is not in danger."
