Pep Guardiola is in the house before Saturday's game against Hull:

"The situation is clear. Eight games left and we need to qualify for the top four and that is our target until the end of the season," he said.

"When you win you must remain calm, when you lose you must manage emotions. My players deserve more than the results this season.

"[Marco Silva’s] done an outstanding job with Hull, I like the way they play, they play with a lot of talent and very offensive."

  2. 'We're not relegated yet..."published at 14:03 British Summer Time 7 April 2017

Sunderland v Manchester United (Sun, 13:30 BST)

    Sunderland

Hats off to David Moyes who said, after he took over from Sam Allardyce is the summer, that the Black Cats would be facing a relegation struggle this season.

    He was right.

Here's the Scot again: "It's a massive ask for us now, but we're not relegated yet and we have a chance.

"We'll push as hard as we can and sometimes one game can make a difference. Hopefully that game can be this weekend.

"We've relied on [striker] Jermain Defoe a lot and I hope he has another half dozen before the end of the season, but others have to score as well."

  3. Man Utd without Rooney, Young, Smalling, Mata and Jonespublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 7 April 2017

Sunderland v Manchester United (Sun, 13:30 BST)

Jose Mourinho says there is no more news on Manchester United's injurites.

"Rooney is not available. Young injured Smalling, Mata and Jones are long term," he said.

When asked about the 10 draws at Old Trafford this season, Mourinho said long-term, it is better than better than five wins and five defeats.

"I still think in spite of the bad result - a draw is a bad result - we are strong at home. We lost only one game.

"We lost because strange things happen. One defeat at home. The way opponents play against us has been a big change, before, because I saw it, they came here thinking they could win and many times lost to counter attack goal."

Striker Victor Anichebe made his return from a three-month injury layoff by making a second-half appearance in the 2-0 loss against Leicester.

Black Cats boss David Moyes was asked about the Nigeria striker's fitness: "Victor's up and running. We need him up to a level where he can make a difference. We're in a position where we have to take risks.

"Can he play 90 minutes? Probably not. Can he play some minutes? Yes."

Everton v Leicester (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Leicester City

Craig Shakespeare insists his focus is on Everton, not the upcoming Champions League game against Atletico Madrid.

“There hasn’t been any Champions League talk. It hasn’t been banned, it’s just all about keeping the run going against Everton.

“It’ll be a tough game. Everton's home record is very good and it’s a really competitive league this season.

“They’re a good side, strong at home, well organised and have a goal threat too."

    Hull City

Marco Silva knows how difficult Saturday's game will be:

“Manchester City are a very, very good team with a fantastic manager and players. We respect them like we do any other side.

“We have quality as well though and it is important that we show that in our football as well.

“It is important we don’t change too much in our behaviour and spirit. We will go there and do our best to get a positive result.”

Now then Spurs and fantasy league fans...

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: "It's very good news Harry will be involved again and he's trained well in the last few days.

"I haven't decided yet if he'll be in the starting 11 or on the bench but the good thing is that he's back.

"Harry has fought a lot to get back as soon as possible, like another player would when he's suffered an injury, they always want to be back as soon as possible."

Antonio Conte doesn't think it's an advantage that Chelsea are playing after Tottenham tomorrow.

"We'll have a good pressure. We must look at ourselves. Our result is the most important thing," he said.

"This race is open. Now I can see two teams in this race, Chelsea and Tottenham, but anything can happen."

  12. No Morgan or Mendy for Foxespublished at 13:36 British Summer Time 7 April 2017

    Leicester City

    Craig ShakespeareImage source, Getty Images

Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare says his side have a few niggles that need assessing. Here's the latest:

“We still haven’t got Wes Morgan or Papy Mendy. How long they’ll be out for, I can’t put a time frame on it.”

“Wes has been out on the grass in his boots, Papy hasn’t. He’ll see another specialist.

“To ask Wes to come back for a game of that magnitude (Atlético) would be a huge ask. I’d want him to do a few days training.

"He is still playing a captain’s part off the pitch at the games and in the dressing room.”

Conte added that he has no other injury concerns before the trip to Bournemouth. He is expecting another tough game there.

"If we think tomorrow will be easy, we are making a great mistake," he added.

Confidence is high for the Tigers after back-to-back wins, but they face a tricky test against Manchester City this weekend. Here's what Marco Silva has to say:

“Getting back-to-back wins was important. The character and team spirit we showed against West Ham and Middlesbrough was pleasing.”

“The results have given us more confidence for sure. We have two away games now and we have to improve our away form.”

“Harry Maguire has done very, very good work in the last three months, but he is injured and it is a chance for another player.”

"I'm really pleased with defender Phil Jagielka. He had a difficult time when he wasn't playing but now he's showing he's still a strong defender for us.

"I expect if we get six points from our next two home games, we will fight for fifth and sixth place in the table."

"If we finish seventh it's a successful season for Everton."
