    It's all happening in the games involving the NFC East sides tonight.

    Washington emerge from the locker room and DeAndre Carter collects the kick-off before searing through the Atlanta special teams line-up for a 101-yard touchdown. Wow.

    But then they miss the extra point for a second time tonight. To and fro, this one.

    New York Giants 7-14 New Orleans Saints

    The Saints were seven-zip down a minute before half-time - now they are seven points up just over a minute into the second half.

    Not sure whether to marvel at Taysom Hill's tenacity there or wince at the awful Giants defending as the Saints utility man breaks a host of very poor tackles to power his way over.

    Drama right on half-time at Lincoln Field.

    Jalen Hurts launches a couple of bombs and all of a sudden the Eagles are closing in on field goal range.

    But then the Chiefs blitz, the ball is stripped from Hurts - pinball ensues and somehow despite five Kansas City players being in close attendance, Philadelphia guard Nate Herbig emerges with the ball.

    You don't get a lot of 11-7 scorelines, but that's what we've got here as Cleveland to their credit keep grinding and after Kareen Hunt breaks a 33-yard run, that leads to Chase McLaughlin being able to boot a 48-yarder for what could be a crucial score.

    Signs the Chiefs are settling down in Pennsylvania.

    A trademark Patrick Mahomes shovel pass puts Jody Fortson over from close in and the Eagles are struggling to find answers to this Kansas City offense now.

    Buffalo get right down deep into the red zone but can't punch it in and instead opt to kick an easy 21-yard field goal from Tyler Bass to increase their lead.

    Cordarelle Patterson evades four tacklers to score his second touchdown of the night and earn Atlanta the half-time advantage in their topsy-turvy affair with Washington.

    It's tough for a rookie QB on a bad team in this league, as Davis Mills just found out when geting sacked on the first play of Houston's latest drive.

    A penalty ruled out that sack, but on the very next play he threw his second interception of the day!

    Houston's drives in this game have resulted in four punts, two picks and one turnover on downs...

    New York Giants 7-7 New Orleans Saints

    The New Orleans Saints finally get something going in front of their own fans as Juwan Johnson brings in a pass from Jameis Winston to get the hosts level right on half-time.

    Cleveland Browns 8-7 Minnesota Vikings

    Minnesota struck first, but Cleveland answered with some smashmouth football and a bruising 18-play drive that chewed up over eight and a half minutes of clock and was finished off by a Kareem Hunt one yard TD run.

    The Browns then go for two after being handed a penalty, and the enforced decision pays off as they take the lead!

    Washington 13-10 Atlanta Falcons

    Well, Washington have turned things around in Georgia.

    Terry McLaurin got them back in it with a touchdown (check out the video) and now Antonio Gibson barrels over from close range.

    The Eagles fans are not happy, boos ringing around Lincoln Field at what they perceive to be some unadventurous play calls in the redzone.

    Jake Elliott lands the chip shot field goal to close the deficit to one.

    Sam Darnold is carrying Carolina on his shoulders here.

    A 20-yard scramble past midfield is impressive enough but a few plays later he spots a gap and goes in from 15 yards to put the Panthers back ahead after that chalked-off Dallas two-point conversion.

    Darnold - a quarterback, remember - leads the entire NFL in rushing touchdowns this season. That was his second this game and fifth overall. What a start to the season for the former Jets man.

    The Jets are still behind to three Randy Bullock field goals but just like John Moss scored his first Giants TD a few moments ago, so has Michael Carter at the MetLife.

    It's a team effort as the Jets offensive line basically pushes him over from a couple of yards.

    The Colts flex their muscles in Miami as Jonathan Taylor rips off a 23-yard touchdown run to put the visitors ahead.

    It's a huge game for Indy this with the Colts 0-3 but clearly having enough talent to make the play-offs - they simply have to win this one.

    Drama at the Superdome as New York Giants wide receiver John Ross does his best impression of Usain Bolt to absolutely rocket between two Saints defenders to collect a big 52-yard Daniel Jones heave.

    He completes the catch but then appears to drop the ball down as he crosses the plane. If it was a fumble, he recovers it anyway. Either way, the officials rule it a touchdown. Big score for Big Blue.
