Wentz rushed for one touchdown and completed 17 of 26 passes, tossing scoring passes to Mo Alie-Cox and Michael Pittman Jr. (four catches, 105 yards). Jonathon Taylor rushed for 107 yards and one score as the Colts improved to 3-4.

  3. Statement win by the Bengals in divisional match-uppublished at 01:19 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

    Cincinnati Bengals 41-17 Baltimore Ravens

Joe Burrow threw for a career-high 416 yards and three touchdowns as the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens 41-17 to move into first place in the AFC North.

Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had 201 yards from eight passes, including the 82-yard touchdown below, while tight end CJ Uzomah had 91 yards and two touchdowns as Cincinnati improved to 5-2 under their second-year quarterback Burrow.

And the Bengals' defence did enough to contain Lamar Jackson and halt a five-game win streak for the Ravens (5-2). Jackson was sacked five times, finishing with 257 yards and a touchdown while leading Baltimore with 88 rushing yards.

  4. Packers win sixth on the spinpublished at 01:14 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Washington Football Team 10-24 Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers threw three more touchdowns and the Packers rolled to a sixth straight win as they overcame Washington at Lambeau Field.

Washington played tough and actually gained more yards than Green Bay, but after allowing a TD on every opposition trip to the red zone, the Packers' defence stood firm this time around.

That defensive improvement will be put to the test as the 6-1 Packers face the unbeaten Cardinals on Thursday night in what is now a huge NFC showdown.

  5. Chiefs slump continues as Titans win againpublished at 01:14 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Kansas City Chiefs 3-27 Tennessee Titans

What’s wrong with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs is a big question emerging as they slumped to 3-4 on the back of a trouncing at Tennessee, with yet more turnovers committed by the former Super Bowl MVP.

Mahomes was also knocked out of the game late on after a nasty hit, but the damage was already done as the Titans produced a second statement win in seven days after beating the Buffalo Bills only on Monday. That’s the top two AFC dogs humbled in Nashville in a week!

The Titans piled up a 27-0 lead by half-time then didn’t need to add a further point as they held the Chiefs in check and, while Kansas City will grab the headlines, Tennessee moved to 5-2 and proved they can beat anyone on their day.

They even had star running back Derrick Henry throw a touchdown pass!

  6. Round-up: Pats win big as Miami lose on last kick - again!published at 01:09 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

The New England Patriots finally won their first home game of the season at the fifth attempt, and did it in some style with a 54-13 rout of AFC East rivals the New York Jets, with Mac Jones passing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne also threw a TD pass as the Patriots opened up their box of tricks on more than one occasion, while running back Damien Harris ran for 106 yards and two scores to improve the Pats to 3-4 while the Jets are languishing at 1-5.

Daniel Jones was everywhere for the New York Giants, throwing a TD pass and producing an incredible catch himself on a trick play to lead them to a 25-3 win over the Carolina Panthers.

On the opposite side, former New York Jets QB Sam Darnold was benched by the Panthers late on after a flurry of mistakes as Carolina slipped to a fourth straight loss after starting the season with three wins.

The Miami Dolphins lost on the last kick of the game for the second straight week as Younghoe Koo booted the game-winner for the Atlanta Falcons to win 30-28 and repeat the heartbreak suffered last week in London.

The Dolphins managed to recover from a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter but still managed to lose their sixth game on the bounce in a result that will really sting.

In their second game under interim coach Rich Bisaccia, the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Philadelphia Eagles 33-22 to move to 5-2, go top of the AFC West and into genuine play-off contention.

Derek Carr had 323 yards passing and two touchdowns while Kenyan Drake and Foster Moreau stepped up to the plate at running back and tight end with regular starters out injured.

  7. FT - Goff falls short on LA returnpublished at 00:48 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Detroit Lions 19-28 Los Angeles Rams

Credit these winless Detroit Lions, who played their hearts out yet again, but they continue to find ways to lose and that late interception from Jared Goff ultimately cost them their chance of earning a huge victory.

It wasn’t pretty at times for the Rams but Matthew Stafford threw three TDs and Cooper Kupp had another big receiving game while the defence stood up just when it was needed to finish this game off.

The Rams improve to 6-1 for the season, just behind the unbeaten Cardinals in the NFC West.

  8. FT - Cardinals stay unbeatenpublished at 00:36 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-31 Arizona Cardinals

It was a slow start for Arizona as they seemed surprised by an aggressive start by the Houston Texans but Kyler Murray then used all his weapons to great effect as the Cardinals remained the last remaining unbeaten team (7-0).

Murray threw touchdown passes to DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and tight end Zach Ertz on his Cardinals debut (how apt on National Tight Ends Day). James Conner rushed for a touchdown, with the only concern for Kliff Kingsbury the number of hits his franchise quarterback took during the game.

The Texans set about Murray with some ferocity and scored the first points of the game on a safety as they trapped the quarterback in his own end zone. They added a field goal before Arizona hit their stride as David Culley's team dropped to 1-6 on the season.

  9. Full-time scores from late gamespublished at 00:29 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

    Away teams first

    • Philadelphia Eagles 22-33 Las Vegas Raiders
    • Detroit Lions 19-28 Los Angeles Rams
    • Houston Texans 5-31 Arizona Cardinals
    • Chicago Bears 3-38 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  10. FT - More Brady records as Bucs dominate Bearspublished at 00:27 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-38 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used a dominant first-half performance to put the Chicago Bears away early. Tom Brady threw his 600th career touchdown to Mike Evans - who would end the game with three touchdowns - early in the first half to take a 21-0 lead.

But the scoring would not end there as Brady threw for two more TDs as the defending champions led 35-3 by half-time. It was another statement win for a team that has a few of them this season on their way to a 6-1 record.

For the Chicago Bears, they have seen this sort of performance before this season when they generated just 47 yards of total offence against the Cleveland Browns in week three.

It was a nightmare performance for Justin Fields, who coughed the ball up a total of five times (three interceptions and two fumbles lost). But their offensive problems are so much deeper than the rookie quarterback and his play.

  11. ouch!

Ouch! Mills takes a big hitpublished at 00:17 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

    Houtson Texans 5-31 Arizona Cardinals

That one will have hurt the Texans quarterback Davis Mills. He does not diagnose the pressure before the snap and Devon Kennard is completely unblocked. He takes a direct angle for the quarterback and there is helmet-to-helmet contact that draws a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty.

  12. FT - Raiders rule in Vegaspublished at 00:12 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 22-33 Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas give Jalen Hurts no options as they still swarm over him despite the game effectively being over, and now it’s officially over as the Raiders win it to move to 5-2 for the season.

It also puts them into top spot in the AFC West, just ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers, who are on a bye this week.

Things still don’t look good for Philly, who now drop to 2-5.

  13. field goal

Field goal - Ramspublished at 00:08 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Detroit Lions 19-28 Los Angeles Rams

That Matt Gay kick will just about do it for this game with Detroit needing two scores with just a minute or so remaining.

  14. touchdown

Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 00:02 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 22-33 Las Vegas Raiders

Give the Eagles credit for keeping going here as Jalen Hurts hits Jalen Reagor for a 17-yard TD before Dallas Goedert catches the two-point conversion attempt and the lead is 11 with two minutes remaining.

  15. Turnover - Goff picked off!published at 00:01 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

Detroit Lions 19-25 Los Angeles Rams

Ah, this one will sting for Jared Goff as he throws a pick in the end zone to Jalen Ramsey, just as it looked like Detroit were gearing up to score a touchdown.

It's exactly what his coach Dan Campbell was talking about last week when saying Goff needed to make more big throws and this was the crucial stage of the game.

The Rams have the chance to just run this game down now....

Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 00:01 British Summer Time 25 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-31 Arizona Cardinals

Houston may have been hanging around for the best part of this game but James Conner may have just put this one to bed.

The Cardinals march down the field after the turnover-on-downs and Conner runs in from 18 yards for a touchdown.

  17. field goal

Field goal - Buccaneerspublished at 23:58 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-38 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay are once again unable to convert the turnover for a touchdown. There was a big play on the drive as Tom Brady found Chris Godwin down the middle of the field for 34 yards.

But the drive stalled out again near the goal-line and Ryan Succop is able to boot through a 22-yard field goal to extend the lead.

  18. That's ugly! Cooks with a drop on fourth downpublished at 23:55 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-24 Arizona Cardinals

The Houston Texans have been struggling on offence all day and have to go for it on fourth down. With just five yards to go, Davis Mills delivers a great ball to Brandin Cooks. He has been so steady-handed throughout his career and it would have been a first down but Cooks inexplicably drops the catch and it will be a turnover-on-downs.

  19. Turnover - Fields interceptedpublished at 23:53 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-35 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

That Bears' goal-line stand counts for nothing as Justin Fields coughs up the ball again. This time he looks deep down the sideline for Allen Robinson but underthrows his target right into the hands of Pierre Desir. That is Fields' third interception and fifth total turnover.

A good day to have the Buccaneers defence in fantasy football.

  20. Lions still fightingpublished at 23:51 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 19-25 Los Angeles Rams

Detroit are really playing hard here to try to get back into the game - converting four out of four third downs as they march down the field.

Jared Goff is trying his best against his former team and his team-mates are all desperate to get this first win of the season as they get into the red zone.
