  1. Murray is dropped in the backfieldpublished at 23:50 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-24 Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray will be sore tomorrow, that is for sure. He has taken some big hits and the latest drive is no different. Murray holds onto the ball too long with no-one open downfield and Jonathan Greenard levels the quarterback from the blindside.

The Texans have not shown much in the way of offence but, with the fourth quarter just about to start, they are not yet out of this game.

  2. field goal

Field goal - Raiderspublished at 23:46 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 14-33 Las Vegas Raiders

Daniel Carlson converts a kick from 39 yards to stretch the lead again for Las Vegas and make it a three-score game once more halfway through the fourth quarter.

  3. Great play! - Bears make a goal-line standpublished at 23:45 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-35 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It may be a blowout at Raymond James Stadium, but that hasn't stopped the Bears' defence from showing some real effort. The Buccaneers have two attempts to score from the one-yard line, but the Bears are able to stuff them twice.

  4. Turnover - Murray throws an interceptionpublished at 23:42 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-24 Arizona Cardinals

The Texans may not have the quality to keep up with the Cardinals but they have certainly been playing as hard as they possibly can. This one is just a gift from Kyler Murray, who sails Zach Ertz straight into the arms of Lonnie Johnson.

  5. touchdown

Touchdown - Ramspublished at 23:39 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 19-25 Los Angeles Rams

That's touchdown pass number 301 for Matthew Stafford to take him above John Elway into 12th in the standings as he finds Cooper Kupp with a short quick throw to the right sideline to let the receiver use his speed to find the end zone.

The Rams go for the two-point conversion and a blazing Robert Woods takes the short flip pass arriving at speed and motors across the field into the right corner with just too much pace for the Lions' defenders.

  6. touchdown

Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 23:34 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 14-30 Las Vegas Raiders

A little ray of light for Philly after the Raiders have to punt thanks to a one-yard run from Boston Scott for the second TD of the game for the Eagles.

Still a long, long road back with just under 12 minutes left to play but you never know.

  7. Turnover - Fields is picked offpublished at 23:30 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-35 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Well it's not much of a surprise given how the game has gone. The Bears offence looked like it was driving down the field nicely before they got bogged down and ended up on third and long. Justin Fields' pass on that down is picked off by safety Jordan Whitehead to further compound a difficult day for Fields.

  8. field goal

Field goal - Lionspublished at 23:29 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 19-17 Los Angeles Rams

Austin Seibert kicks Detroit into the lead with a 31-yarder, but it could have been a touchdown had Jared Goff found D'Andre Swift on a short pass that would've given him a great chance to score.

Goff is furious with himself as it was an easy throw to make but Swift just checked his run at the last minute and that meant he couldn't twist back around to make the catch.

Goff would like that one back...

  9. touchdown

Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 23:26 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-24 Arizona Cardinals

Welcome to Arizona Zach Ertz! The Cardinals offence has really started to flow as Kyler Murray finds his tight end over the middle of the field with a wonderful touch on his throw. Ertz takes the ball up the left side line untouched for a 47-yard touchdown.

  10. That's ugly! Hurts fumblespublished at 23:22 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 7-30 Las Vegas Raiders

That one will hurt for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles as he fumbles the snap and bobbles the ball all over the place to turn the ball over just when Philly had been knocking on the door of the Raiders' end zone.

It's a really bad look as Hurts is scrambling on the floor trying to scoop up the ball but the end result is a huge mistake that could cost his side the game.

  11. Good call Jason!published at 23:21 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

  12. Great play!published at 23:05 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 16-17 Los Angeles Rams

Well today it's expect the unexpected from these Detroit Lions, who have obviously come to LA to put it all on the line, so it's not that surprising that they go for a fake punt again.

It's the second of the game and again they convert the first down as CJ Moore takes the short snap and runs it 28 yards and into Rams territory.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 23:02 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-35 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After forcing a turnover-on-downs, the Buccaneers offence takes advantage with Mike Evans claiming his third touchdown of the day.

This drive required Tom Brady's customary quarterback sneak to convert on fourth down before he connects with Evans for an eight-yard pass to put the finishing touch on a near-perfect first half for the reigning champs.

  14. field goal

Field goal - Cardinalspublished at 22:58 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Houston Texans 5-17 Arizona Cardinals

Arizona started their game second in points scored inside two minutes with 24 to the Cincinnati Bengals' 27. Matt Prater's 31-yard field goal sees them tie the Bengals in that regard and extend their lead in this game as they reach half-time.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Raiderspublished at 22:53 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 7-24 Las Vegas Raiders

Maybe it's because they're in Las Vegas but the Eagles take a big gamble and go for the onside kick to start the second half, but it doesn't come off and the Raiders get the ball.

Like so many to have played with such high stakes in Vegas, they've come unstuck as the Raiders take advantage with Kenyan Drake capping off a short 41-yard drive with a rushing TD to put the hosts well in control.

  17. Sack - Fields goes down on fourth downpublished at 22:51 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-28 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Chicago Bears are already in fourth-down territory and as Justin Fields drops back to pass, Jason Pierre-Paul is able bring him down for a turnover-on-downs.

  18. field goal

Field goal - Raiderspublished at 22:45 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 7-17 Las Vegas Raiders

On the second play of the Eagles' latest drive, Kenneth Gainwell fumbles and it's recovered by Johnathan Abram, giving the Raiders the ball deep in Philadelphia territory.

But the clock is against them and they settle for a 28-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson to close the half.

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 22:44 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 3-28 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Well there may have been accusations that the Buccaneers offence were sloppy on their last drive. But that field goal from the Bears seems to have woken them back up.

Tom Brady hit Mike Evans down the left sideline for a 46-yard reception before going back to Evans for a two-yard touchdown. That is exactly the answer they would have been looking for.

Neil Kennedy: The reason they don't include the post-season is to create another set of meaningless stats. Much as I have followed the NFL since the later '70's (yup, that old!) the constant drive for a 'new stat' drives me bonkers!!
