  1. touchdown

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 21:41 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 0-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It's a quick strike by the Bucs, set up by a 43-yard punt return by Jaelon Darden and finished off by Leonard Fournette with a 15-yard burst up the middle and a three-yard touchdown run.

It's a fourth TD in the last three games for Fournette as the Bucs lead without Tom Brady having thrown a pass yet.

  2. field goal

Field goal - Ramspublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 10-3 Los Angeles Rams

Matt Gay converts from 33 yards to get the Rams on the board but Detroit will be happy enough to stop them from scoring a touchdown.

  3. Fields sackedpublished at 21:31 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears 0-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Justin Fields is dropped by the Bucs' pass rush and the ball pops out - luckily for Chicago it's picked up by Khalil Herbert and the Bears keep the ball.

It's still a three-and-out and a punt but could have been woorse.

  4. Full-time scores in early gamespublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Away teams first

    • Carolina Panthers 3-25 New York Giants
    • Atlanta Falcons 30-28 Miami Dolphins

    • Kansas City Chiefs 3-27 Tennessee Titans
    • New York Jets 13-54 New England Patriots
    • Cincinnati Bengals 41-17 Baltimore Ravens
  5. field goal

Field goal - Lionspublished at 21:24 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 10-0 Los Angeles Rams

All that trickeration does pay off with points, even though it's only three as Austin Seibert kicks the field goal from 37 yards.

It still gives Detroit something to hang on to for the first time this season, as incredibly enough that's the first time Jared Goff has taken a snap with the Lions ahead in a game all season!

  6. GOAT v the rookiepublished at 21:22 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Chicago Bears v Tampa Bay Buccaneers (21:25 BST)

In Florida now it's 'the GOAT' Tom Brady against Chicago rookie Justin Fields.

  7. FT - Bengals come up big to take top spot in AFC Northpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Cincinnati Bengals 41-17 Baltimore Ravens

The Cincinnati Bengals are now the team to beat in the AFC North. It was a statement win for Zac Taylor's team as their defence never let the Ravens get on track and the offence made sure to take advantage of that.

Joe Burrow and the offence amassed 502 total yards, punctuated by an 82-yard touchdown reception for rookie wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.

For the Ravens it serves as a massive reality check as they fall to 5-2, the same record as the Bengals. They finished the game with a whimper after back-to-back turnovers on downs were capitalised on by the Bengals.

But the good news for coach John Harbaugh is that they are heading into the bye week and will have plenty of time to regroup and prepare for their week nine opponents, the Minnesota Vikings.

  8. Postpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Houston Texans v Arizona Cardinals (21:25 BST)

Zach Ertz will play his first game for the Arizona Cardinals after the tight end left the Philadelphia Eagles to join the league's last remaining unbeaten team. Not often you see a high-profile mid-season trade in the NFL.

  9. Trick playspublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 7-0 Los Angeles Rams

If you're 0-6 you have nothing to lose I suppose, and the Detroit Lions have been pulling everything out of their box of tricks - firstly going for an on-side kick straight away after their opening touchdown!

What's more, they not only get it, but then go for a fake punt on fourth down, and they get that too! It keeps the drive going and keeps Matthew Stafford off the field.

Not sure I've seen an on-side kick and fake punt so early in the game.

  10. touchdown

Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 7-0 Las Vegas Raiders

The aptly-named Kenneth Gainwell does as his name suggests and gains 13 yards and a touchdown from the Jalen Hurts pass as he gets a real head of steam up after the catch and there is no stopping him as he powers into the end zone.

  11. touchdown

Touchdown - Lionspublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Detroit Lions 7-0 Los Angeles Rams

D'Andre Swift takes a short pass from Jared Goff and turns it into a 63-yard touchdown on the catch-and-run, breaking through some tackles before stepping on the jets and pulling clear.

Perfect start for winless Detroit and the returning Goff, who is playing in a huge revenge game to show LA that he shouldn't have been traded away for his opposite number today, Matthew Stafford.

  12. field goal

Field goal - Falcons win it!published at 21:15 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Atlanta Falcons 30-28 Miami Dolphins

It is a last-second field-goal loss for the Miami Dolphins yet again! They have been competitive in almost all of their games so far this season but they have just not been able to find a way to win and will now fall to 1-6 this season, a far cry from where they had seemingly got to as a team under Brian Flores last season.

For the Atlanta Falcons, they move to 3-3 and keep their play-off hopes alive. It seemed like they were going to take the game away from the Dolphins in the middle portion but a couple of bad turnovers left the door open. Fortunately Younghoe Koo was on hand to kick the game-winning field goal.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 21:13 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

New York Jets 13-54 New England Patriots

And that's the 50-burger up for the Patriots as JJ Taylor runs in his second touchdown in the space of a few minutes with New England pouring on the misery for the Jets.

    No mercy for New York.

  14. Today's late gamespublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

The first two late games are about to get under way:

    • Philadelphia Eagles v Las Vegas Raiders (21:05)
    • Detroit Lions v Los Angeles Rams (21:05)

  15. FT - Mahomes down and out as Chiefs lose bigpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Kansas City Chiefs 3-27 Tennessee Titans

Talk about statement wins, then what about two of them in seven days as the Tennessee Titans have now beaten the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back games.

They blew KC away in the first half and the Titans didn't even need to score a point in the second half as they eased down to victory by keeping Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs offence well and truly shackled.

Mahomes left the game with a nasty looking head injury as well as things go from bad to worse for Andy Reid's side, who continue to make too many turnovers and struggle defensively.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Dolphinspublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Atlanta Falcons 27-28 Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins take the lead with just over two minutes left to play!

It is great play design as they fake the end around to Jaylen Waddle, with Tua Tagovailoa keeping the ball before throwing a strike to the special teams captain Mack Hollins in the back of the end zone.

  17. touchdown

Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Cincinnati Bengals 41-17 Baltimore Ravens

The Cincinnati Bengals will be moving to the top of the AFC North here! Another turnover on downs by the Ravens is immediately punished by the Bengals offence. This time it is back-up running back Samaje Perine who runs in for the score from 46 yards to put this one to bed.

Tyler Huntley is now in at quarterback for the Ravens in what seems to be a clear sign that the Ravens have accepted their fate.

  18. field goal

Field goal - Washingtonpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Washington Football Team 10-24 Green Bay Packers

The Football Team try an on-side kick after a Chris Blewitt field goal to try to force what would be a frantic finish if they could find a touchdown, but Green Bay get the ball and as we get down towards the two-minute warning the Packers can close this game out now.

  19. Turnover - Matt Ryan fumblespublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

    Atlanta Falcons 27-21 Miami Dolphins

    This game swings again!

On third down Matt Ryan is looking to make a play and as he gets outside of the pocket he is forced to try to run for the first down. Emmanuel Ogbah chops down on the ball from behind the quarterback and strips it out for Nik Needham to fall on.

  20. touchdown

Touchdown - Giantspublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 24 October 2021

Carolina Panthers 3-25 New York Giants

Game over in New York as Devontae Booker takes a 19-yard run to the house to hand the Giants a much-needed victory as the season continues to unravel for Carolina after a positive start.
