  2. Brady breaks more records in walk-off winpublished at 01:52 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 27-33 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady brought up two more milestones in style as he threw a dramatic winning touchdown pass in overtime to beat the Buffalo Bills 33-27 in a pulsating game in Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers were cruising at 24-3 but Josh Allen led the Bills on a remarkable comeback to force overtime, and they went ahead in the extra period with a field goal.

That gave Brady a chance to respond, though, and in typical style the 44-year-old won the game with a 58-yard touchdown pass to Breshad Perriman. It also just happened to be Brady’s 700th touchdown throw – he's the first player ever to reach that landmark.

Brady also went ahead of Drew Brees for the most pass completions in NFL history as he moved to 7,156, adding to the records he already holds for all-time passing yards and TD passes.

Tampa Bay moved to 10-3 and still fighting for first place in the NFC, but the Bills slipped to 7-6 after three defeats in four and are now on the fringes of the AFC play-offs.

  3. Niners edge Bengals in OT thrillerpublished at 01:44 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 26-23 Cincinnati Bengals

The San Francisco 49ers also enjoyed a walk-off victory in overtime against the Cincinnati Bengals, thanks to Brandon Aiyuk’s diving effort.

It was the third home game to go to overtime for Cincinnati this season, having beaten the Minnesota Vikings but lost out to the Green Bay Packers.

Again there was a big comeback as the Niners led 20-6 in the third quarter but Joe Burrow hit rookie Ja’Marr Chase for two touchdowns to draw level.

Robbie Gould missed a late field goal to win it for San Francisco, but they finally got the victory with Aiyuk reaching into the end zone with just under two minutes left.

George Kittle had another huge game with 151 yards and a TD as the 49ers moved to 7-6, the same mark as the Bengals, but while it puts the Niners in the NFC play-offs it leaves Cincy on the outside looking in at the AFC picture.

Justin Herbert threw three touchdown passes and Austin Ekeler ran for a score as the Los Angeles Chargers earned a 37-21 win over New York Giants.

Joshua Palmer, Jalen Guyton and Jared Cook caught touchdown passes for the Chargers, helping Herbert become the first player to reach 30 touchdown passes in each of his first two NFL seasons.

The second-placed Chargers (8-5) now have two straight wins heading into an AFC West showdown at home to divisional leaders Kansas City (9-4) on Thursday.

Melvin Gordon rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Denver Broncos to a 38-10 win over the Detroit Lions.

Javonte Williams rushed for 73 yards and a score and also had a touchdown reception, while Teddy Bridgewater passed for 179 yards and two touchdowns for the Broncos (7-6).

Micah Parsons and Randy Gregory led a dominant Dallas defence before the Cowboys survived a late scare to win 27-20 at Washington.

Dallas (9-4) led 27-8 late in the fourth quarter before Washington scored two touchdowns in 56 seconds, with Cole Holcomb's pick six making it 27-20 with 4:13 left.

Washington had one more possession but with 2:34 left, Gregory forced a fumble which the Cowboys recovered to halt the four-game winning streak of Washington (6-7).

Myles Garrett scored his first career touchdown as the Cleveland Browns held on for a 24-22 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Cleveland (7-6) led 24-3 with 49 seconds left in the first half after Garrett forced a strip-sack on Tyler Huntley and recovered it to claim a 15-yard score.

Huntley had to come in for Lamar Jackson after the former MVP suffered a sprained right ankle which will be assessed on Monday.

Patrick Mahomes passed for two touchdowns and Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for two to help the Kansas City Chiefs to a 48-9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Mike Hughes returned a fumble for a touchdown on the Raiders' first offensive play while Josh Gordon and Darrel Williams caught touchdown passes as the Chiefs (9-4) led 35-0 before the half.

Russell Wilson passed for 260 yards and two touchdowns while Tyler Lockett eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for a third consecutive season as the Seattle Seahawks won 33-13 at the Houston Texans.

Rashaad Penny also produced touchdown runs of 32 and 47 yards en route to a 137-yard performance for the Seahawks (5-8).

Mykal Walker returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown as the Atlanta Falcons (6-7) claimed a 29-21 win at the Carolina Panthers.

Carolina quarterback Cam Newton scored the opening touchdown but back-up quarterback PJ Walker twice replaced him later into the game.

Alvin Kamara returned from a four-game absence to rush for 120 yards and a touchdown as the New Orleans Saints (6-7) ended a five-game losing streak by beating the New York Jets 30-9.

D'Onta Foreman and Ryan Tannehill ran for a touchdown apiece for the Tennessee Titans (9-4), who also intercepted Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence four times in a 20-0 win.

    Touchdown - Buccaneers win!published at 00:58 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 27-33 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Well, what else did you expect? Tom Brady leads his team to a walk-off victory when he hits Breshad Perriman for a 58-yard touchdown that wins the game in overtime.

It was Perriman's first catch of the game - and in fact the only time he'd been targeted, but it ends up being the catch that wins a wonderful game and ends a seriously exciting couple of games that both went to overtime.

    Touchdown - Niners win!published at 00:51 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 26-23 Cincinnati Bengals

Niners win! What an effort from Brandon Aiyuk who takes in the pass down the left and somehow manages to avoid going out of bounds under pressure and dives over the pylon to win the game for San Francisco.

That's a sickener for the Bengals though.

  11. Postpublished at 00:49 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 27-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Buffalo have to punt, but it's a great boot and Brady has to start on his own six-yard line.

  12. Niners in positionpublished at 00:46 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 20-23 Cincinnati Bengals

George Kittle makes another catch to get San Francisco a first down on the Cincy 12 yard line and in superb position to grab this walk-off touchdown score.

Kittle's caught 13 balls tonight for 151 yards and a touchdown.

  13. field goal

Field goal - Bills send it to overtime!published at 00:43 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 27-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We're all level at Raymond James Stadium - which seemed a long way off when the Bucs led 24-3 at half time, but Josh Allen has come roaring back and the Bills defence has really stepped up.

Allen was inches away from connecting with Stefon Diggs but in the end they settle for a Tyler Bass field goal to tie us up and send this one to overtime as well!

  14. field goal

Field goal - Bengalspublished at 00:40 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 20-23 Cincinnati Bengals

Cincy strike first in overtime, they can't find the end zone but they make the kick with Evan McPherson's field goal - so now the Niners have to score on this drive - either a field goal to keep the game going or touchdown to win.

  15. Great play!published at 00:39 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 24-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

My word Josh Allen is trying everything - he makes a big completion to Dawson Knox then tries to run in a score himself but steps out of bounds. It looks like they'll have to settle for a field goal.

  16. Field goal no good!published at 00:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 20-20 Cincinnati Bengals

    We're going to overtime!

Robbie Gould has a 47-yarder to win it, but although it starts off on line it just wanders off to the right and misses the uprights and as time expires we're going to overtime.

  17. Kittle takes a beautypublished at 00:28 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 20-20 Cincinnati Bengals

Take a bow George Kittle - one play after Cincinnati almost picked off Jimmy Garoppolo, he then launches a high throw at his tight end who somehow manages to leap high enough to haul in the catch and keep the drive going.

The Niners have 10 seconds left but are already in field goal range - can they win it at the death?

  18. Bills get Bradypublished at 00:26 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 24-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady gets sacked by the Bills defence and that forces a punt to give Josh Allen a shot to tie the game or even go ahead with three minutes left.

Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 00:22 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 20-20 Cincinnati Bengals

It's all getting a bit exciting now! And that was a stone cold drive from Joe Burrow who sliced and diced the 49ers to go 87 yards in a minute and 21 seconds when finding rookie Ja'Marr Chase again for his second TD of the game.

We're all tied up with just over a minute left.

  20. touchdown

Touchdown - Billspublished at 00:20 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 24-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

That's two touchdowns in four minutes for the Buffalo Bills as Josh Allen fires a ball into Gabriel Davis to get the visitors back to within just a field goal of the champs.

You couldn't have seen this coming just a bit earlier but credit to Allen who has really stepped it up in this fourth quarter.
