  4. NFC East showdownpublished at 17:44 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys v Washington Football Team (18:00)

It's like the good old days when the NFC East actually meant something, as the Dallas Cowboys head to Washington with something actually riding on the game.

Three defeats in five for Dallas and four straight wins for Washington means the Football Team are on their heels, and they play each other twice in the space of a few weeks.

Washington became just the second team ever to start 2-6 but make the play-offs last season, and with five divisional games to finish they’re in with a chance of doing it again - late runs are now obviously their thing!

Both teams have been playing really tough on defence the last few weeks, so this one will be tough, and much will rest on Dak Prescott.

Dallas have won seven of their last 10 games in Washington.

  8. Welcome to Week 14!published at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Welcome back NFL fans! It's Week 14, we're closing in on Christmas and the play-off race is really starting to get serious.

The Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers can clinch play-off places this weekend depending on their results and games elsewhere.

Beyond that, though, it's turning into an almighty scramble for the post-season.

Every AFC team has lost at least four games, and in the NFC, Washington and San Francisco sit in the last two spots despite being just 6-6 for the season. They have five teams lining up behind them, though, just a game back.

Tampa Bay and Green Bay are both in action tonight, as are AFC challengers Tennessee and the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs.

We won't get all the answers tonight but we'll get plenty of action as every game is vital at this stage. Stay tuned!
