  1. Allen droppedpublished at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

You don't get too much change out of this Bucs defence, especially early on and after Tom Brady drew a blank on Tampa Bay's first possession, Josh Allen takes over but also has no joy as he takes a big sack and the Bills have to punt.

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Chargerspublished at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

New York Giants 0-7 Los Angeles Chargers

Who else would score first here but touchdown machine Austin Ekeler, who runs it in from a yard out to put the Bolts ahead at SoFi Stadium.

  3. Sackpublished at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Trey Hendrickson makes it nine straight games with a sack on just the third play of the game as he bursts right up the middle to drop Jimmy Garoppolo.

Touchdown - Broncospublished at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Detroit Lions 0-7 Denver Broncos

You need more than two tacklers to stop Javonte Williams from getting over the goal line - as the rookie rusher has shown us all season that he's got freakish strength and can muscle his way through a pack of tacklers.

    Exhibit A is below...

  6. Massive fumblepublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 27-20 Washington Football Team

That's huge! QB Kyle Allen fumbles and Dallas recover the ball - he says he was throwing it away and his arm is coming forward but it's not quite clear enough to overturn the rulling.

The Cowboys still need a first down to ice the game though.

  7. FT - Browns survive Baltimore comebackpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 22-24 Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns had an extra week to prepare and saw Baltimore lose starting quarterback Lamar Jackson but the ravens still gave them a huge scare with back-up Tyler Huntley launching a late comeback.

The Browns led 24-3 but didn't manage a point in the second half and rather limped over the line in the manner of a team that didn't quite have the confidence to finish it off.

Still, they go to 7-6 and keep their season alive while the ravens fall to 8-5 and now in danger of losing their outright lead at the top of the AFC North.

  8. Washington get it back!published at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 27-20 Washington Football Team

The pressure! Dallas fumble the kick-off and then go three-and-out and have to punt it away giving the Football Team the ball back on their own 30 with three minutes left to play....

  9. touchdown

Touchdown - Washington pick sixpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 27-20 Washington Football Team

Wow! That could be huge as Dak Prescott throws the ball right to Washington's Cole Holcomb who collects the interception and returns it with interest all the way to the end zone for a pick six!

That's just blown the roof off the stadium as the home crowd go nuts, although it's spoilt somewhat by Washington then missing the extra point as it stays a seven-point game.

  10. More records for The Goatpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Buffalo Bills v Tampa Bay Buccaneers (21:25)

Tom Brady breaks records on a weekly basis, and this time he needs just 18 completions to become the NFL’s all-time leader in that metric to join his leading marks in passing yards (82,975) and TD passes (615).

The 44-year-old continues to astound and amaze as he's throwing the ball better and more often than he ever has. Brady leads the league in passing yards and touchdowns – with 35 he’s got more by himself than 17 teams in the league have managed.

It's Brady's ninth season reaching 30 touchdown passes, which is tied for the second-most seasons ever.

And with 229 passing yards today he'll reach 4,000 for the 13th time in his career - joining Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (14) as the only players with 13 seasons of 4,000 passing yards.

  11. Bills facing Brady's Bucspublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Buffalo Bills v Tampa Bay Buccaneers (21:25)

After losing to Bill Belichick on Monday, the Buffalo Bills now face Tom Brady and the champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers - at least in the old days they played them both in one game!

Brady has got more wins against Buffalo (32) than any QB in history has had against a single team, and the odds are in his favour again with the Bills having to travel on a short week after a tough loss.

The visitors are also missing Pro Bowl cornerback Tre’Davious White against Brady, who has thrown four TD passes in four of five home games this season – Buffalo statistically still have the top-ranked NFL defence but it'll be tough to hold the Bucs here.

And that means they'll have to let Josh Allen off the leash and let him try and go toe-to-toe with the GOAT and win a barn-burner - this could be an epic encounter.

  12. Herbert to make historypublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

New York Giants v Los Angeles Chargers (21:05)

The Chargers are another team in the wildcard muddle and in Justin Herbert they have a special record-setting QB who could just make the difference.

After breaking the rookie TD passing record with 31 last season, Herbert leads the AFC with 27 and needs just three more to be the second-youngest player to throw 30 TD passes.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Saintspublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

New Orleans Saints 30-9 New York Jets

This will definitely do it for New Orleans. Taysom Hill, who is currently their quarterback but can pretty much do a bit of everything on offence, claims his second rushing touchdown of the final quarter - this time from 44 yards. That'll snap a five-game losing streak for the Saints.

  14. Ravens recover onside kickpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 22-24 Cleveland Browns

Hello! Baltimore have five fourth-quarter comeback wins this season and this could be another as they manage to grab the ball from the onside kick after a Browns blocker didn't even see the ball as it bobbled off his shoulder.

  15. touchdown

Touchdown - Ravenspublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 22-24 Cleveland Browns

My my, Tyler Huntley that is a mightily impressive drive from the back-up QB, firstly a laser down the left sideline for Rashod Bateman to catch a 30-yard pass, which sets up a scoring strike to tight end Mark Andrews.

Suddenly it's a two-point game with less than two minutes left.

  16. Broncos fans invited to pay tribute to Super Bowl winner Thomaspublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Detroit Lions v Denver Broncos (21:05 GMT)

The Denver Broncos have set up an area for fans to pay their respects to Demaryius Thomas, who died this week aged 33.

The former wide receiver was found dead at his home in Georgia on Thursday, with investigators stating "preliminary information" was that he died "from a medical issue".

Thomas, who retired in June, won the Super Bowl with the Broncos in 2015.

  17. FT - Falcons ice the winpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Atlanta Falcons 29-21 Carolina Panthers

After that Carolina touchdown, Atlanta have just over three minutes to hold on to the ball and see the game out.

And this time they make no mistake. They'll join New Orleans on 6-7 in the NFC South, going a win clear of Carolina.

  18. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Las Vegas Raiders 9-48 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have turned their offence over to Derrick Gore, who takes the ball on three straight runs to lead to a field goal, then is handed it again after the Chiefs recover a fumble.

And this time he breaks off a huge 51-yard rushing touchdown, barging right through the Raiders before burning away from the chasers.

Just a couple of minutes left now for the Chiefs to put up that 50-burger on their big rivals.

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Seahawkspublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Seattle Seahawks 33-13 Houston Texans

Davis Mills fails to complete on 4th & 3 so Houston turn it over on downs.

Two plays later, Rashaad Penny bursts through a gap and keeps going to claim a 47-yard touchdown, his second of the day. Penny's also racked up 137 yards off 16 carries today.

There's just over five minutes left so that should do it for Seattle.

    Baltimore Ravens 15-24 Cleveland Browns

Cleveland are trying to see this game out but they just cant get close enough to take a shot at a field goal so have to punt it away. Baltimore will start on their own 10 with five minutes left in this game.
