  1. touchdown

    Touchdown - 49erspublished at 23:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

San Francisco 49ers 17-17 Los Angeles Rams

What a drive this! 10 straight runs from the 49ers had the Rams on their heels, and they're not ready for the gadget play as wide receiver Deebo Samuel gets the ball in the backfield, but then launches a surprise pass downfield.

And Jauan Jennings is all alone 24 yards down field waiting to collect the ball for the touchdown. Huge drive, huge play, and huge moment in this game and even division?

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 23:08 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

Carolina Panthers 7-17 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ke'Shawn Vaughn strolls through a huge hole for a two-yard score after a large dose of Rob Gronkowski on that drive. Tom Brady will need a lot more Gronk this post season with injuries and the departure of Antonio Brown.

It was also a lucrative catch for Gronk on that drive...

  4. field goal

Field goal - Billspublished at 23:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New York Jets 7-13 Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen has three goes at chucking a touchdown pass in the red zone but Buffalo run out of time before the half so opt for a field goal, with Tyler Bass making it from 21 yards to stretch the Bills' lead.

  5. touchdown

Touchdown - Saintspublished at 22:55 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New Orleans Saints 24-6 Atlanta Falcons

Brett Maher kicks a 37-yard field goal for the New Orleans Saints, who then pull off a fumble recovery on the first play of the Falcons' drive.

That sets up the position for Trevor Siemian to find Juwan Johnson for a five-yard touchdown just two seconds before the half.

  6. touchdown

Touchdown - Bucspublished at 22:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

Carolina Panthers 7-10 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Le'Veon Bell was not reunited with former Pittsburgh Steelers team-mate Antonio Brown for long at Tampa Bay, with Brown being released this week after taking off his jersey and pads before going into the locker room during last week's win over the Jets.

But Bell has just registered his first touchdown as a Buc, with Tom Brady finding him for a one-yard score to cap a 92-yard drive.

  7. touchdown

Touchdown - Jetspublished at 22:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New York Jets 7-10 Buffalo Bills

Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson finds Keelan Cole with a quick throw on the slant and he runs it in for a 40-yard touchdown to make it a three-point game.

  8. field goal

    Field goal - 49erspublished at 22:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

San Francisco 49ers 3-17 Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have bossed the first half but the 49ers manage to get themselves on the board right before the interval.

Robbie Gould kicks a 42-yard field goal after Jimmy Garoppolo connects with Brandon Aiyuk for two big plays on the drive.

  9. What a catch!published at 22:36 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New Orleans Saints 14-6 Atlanta Falcons

You won't see a better interception catch than this one-hander from Paulson Adebo. Just drink it in....

  10. touchdown

Touchdown - Saintspublished at 22:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New Orleans Saints 14-6 Atlanta Falcons

Trevor Siemian does a nice job of firing a 13-yard touchdown score to Tre'Quan Smith to extend the lead for the Saints.

It's been a tough season for QBs in New Orleans and if they can somehow get into the play-offs it'll be some effort.

  11. touchdown

Touchdown - Seahawkspublished at 22:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

    Seattle Seahawks 14-10 Arizona Cardinals

Tyler Lockett gets his second touchdown catch of the game from Russell Wilson, who could well be playing his last game for Seattle if you believe the reports flying about.

Wilson and his team are certainly playing like there's something on the line here.

  12. ouch!

Hill limps out for Saintspublished at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New Orleans Saints 7-6 Atlanta Falcons

Taysom Hill limps out of the action for New Orleans so Trevor Siemian has to come in at QB for the Saints, who as it stands are heading to the play-offs with their narrow lead and San Francisco being well behind in LA.

But they could do with Hill under centre though.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 22:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New England Patriots 7-17 Miami Dolphins

Brandon Bolden runs the ball in with a tough 15-yard effort to get the Patriots on the board. They've got a number of options on the ground and Bill Belichick is not afraid of using them.

  14. touchdown

Touchdown - Ramspublished at 22:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

San Francisco 49ers 0-17 Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have obviously not enjoyed losing five in a row to the 49ers, as they're really laying it on the visitors at SoFi Stadium with another Matthew Stafford-to-Tyler Higbee touchdown.

This time it's a 15-yarder as the Niners just can't seem to cover the Rams' tight end. Sean McVay means business here.

  15. field goal

Field goals updatepublished at 22:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

Like buses they all come at once...

    • New England Patriots 0-17 Miami Dolphins (Jason Sanders 30yds)
    • New Orleans Saints 7-6 Atlanta Falcons (Younghoe Koo 54yds)
    • Seattle Seahawks 7-10 Arizona Cardinals (Matt Prater 41yds)
    • Carolina Panthers 7-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Ryan Succop 39yds)
  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Ramspublished at 22:03 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

San Francisco 49ers 0-10 Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are throwing everything at the 49ers early on as they look to build a big lead, as they show by going for it on fourth and goal and producing a wonderfully well-executed score for Tyler Higbee.

Matthew Stafford sells the run perfectly and then floats the ball over the top for Higbee, who had wriggled through the scrum of players to take in a simple catch.

  17. field goal

Field goal - Billspublished at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New York Jets 0-10 Buffalo Bills

Tyler Bass boots a 41-yarder after Buffalo had a possible touchdown correctly ruled out as Stefon Diggs just failed to get two feet down in bounds on the catch.

It's a tasty 10-point lead after a confident start for the Bills as they chase this AFC East title.

  18. Steelers all-but inpublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

Pittsburgh Steelers 16-13 Baltimore Ravens (OT)

They were big outsiders at the start of the day, but now it'll take something very strange for the Pittsburgh Steelers not to make the play-offs after they beat Baltimore in overtime.

As long as there isn't a tie in the Chargers v Raiders game later on tonight, Pittsburgh will progress and Ben Roethlisberger's career will continue for at least one more game...

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Dolphins pick sixpublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

New England Patriots 0-14 Miami Dolphins

It's a bad start for the Patriots as Mac Jones is picked off by Xavien Howard, who races away for a 37-yard pick six to put Miami in control.

Nothing to play for here for the Dolphins, but as we've seen already today, these divisional rivals just love beating each other up.

  20. field goal

Field goal - Ramspublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2022

San Francisco 49ers 0-3 Los Angeles Rams

Just a field goal to start the Rams off but considering they usually lose to the 49ers, that will settle them down a little bit as they chase the NFC West title.

Matt Gay converts from 43 yards out.
