Las Vegas Raiders 6-20 Cincinnati Bengals

There's time for the Raiders to narrow the gap before the interval. They'll have to get moving though.

Derek Carr makes passes to Hunter Renfrow then Bryan Edwards before scrambling for a first down, getting Vegas to the Bengals' 29-yard line with 37 seconds to the half.

  2. touchdown

On the very next play, Joe Burrow scrambles out of the pocket and is right on the sideline as he unleashes a 10-yard pass to Tyler Boyd at the back of the end zone.

But was the quarterback out of bounds? No, the replays show he got rid of it just before he stepped onto the chalk. That'll be his second TD pass of the night and he's already passed for 146 yards.

The Bengals are into the red zone at the two-minute warning. Can they punch it in before we reach the half in the weekend's first play-off game?

  5. Chase churns for first downpublished at 22:40 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 6-13 Cincinnati Bengals

The Raiders frustrate the Bengals at the start of the drive but then Joe Burrow fires a 29-yard dart down the middle to tight end CJ Uzomah. Pinpoint.

Burrow tries a deep shot on the next play but Ja'Marr Chase can't quite grab it under pressure on the goal-line.

The Bengals then go for it on fourth and one, tossing it back to Chase, who runs on the outside to get the first down.

  6. Chase makes historypublished at 22:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 6-13 Cincinnati Bengals

As the Bengals start their next drive, they've now got the best rookie receiver in NFL history in Ja'Marr Chase...

Josh Jacobs is stuffed on the next play, and two Derek Carr passes go incomplete so the Raiders will have to kick, Daniel Carlson making no mistake from 28 yards to cut the deficit.

  8. Raiders on the chargepublished at 22:29 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-13 Cincinnati Bengals

The Raiders are back in possession and here's a chance for Josh Jacobs to stretch his legs, charging straight up the middle for 14 yards to get Vegas in Cincy territory.

Oh, and on the very next play the Raiders' running back bursts through for another 35 to get Vegas to the hosts' 12-yard line. That was their longest run of the season.

  9. First score the winner?published at 22:26 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-13 Cincinnati Bengals

They're down by 10 now, but the Raiders scored first and in their recent games that's been a great sign.

  10. field goal

Field goal - Bengalspublished at 22:25 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-13 Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have to kick it but Evan McPherson makes the field goal from 30 yards to stretch their lead back to 10.

The Raiders may have got a stop there but that's three drives, three scores for the Bengals. Vegas can't afford to let that trend keep going.

  11. Raiders sack Burrowpublished at 22:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-10 Cincinnati Bengals

One Joe Burrow pass into the end zone goes incomplete before Joe Mixon's run is stopped four yards short.

Burrow then tries to keep the play alive on third down but the Raiders' defence gets to the Bengals quarterback for a sack.

  12. Bengals back in possessionpublished at 22:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-10 Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals start their drive five yards inside the Raiders' half and Joe Mixon runs for a five-yard gain, before Ja'Marr Chase takes a hand-off to earn a first down.

Chase then brushes off his man to jump for another Joe Burrow pass and a 28-yard gain.

  13. Bengals sack Carr againpublished at 22:15 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-10 Cincinnati Bengals

And Sam Hubbard charges right up the middle to sack Derek Carr, forcing him back into his own end zone.

It's not a safety, but the Raiders will have to punt from way back under the posts.

  14. 'If you take Rodgers off that team, they're 6-11 at best'published at 22:13 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

    Osi Umenyiora
    Two-time Super Bowl winner

I was thinking Aaron Rodgers would win it and then somebody put Tom Brady's stats next to his (Brady led the league for passing yards and touchdown passes). Brady had a fantastic season, under the radar, but Rodgers had 37 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

I know a lot of things with his vaccination status might cloud people's judgement but he was the Most Valuable Player. If you take him off that team, they're 6-11 at best.

After winning last season's MVP award, there was doubt over whether Aaron Rodgers would stay with the Green Bay Packers for 2021.

But the 38-year-old quarterback sorted out his differences with Green Bay's management to lead the Packers to a third straight 13-win season, securing the NFC's top seed for the second year running.

That's made him the favourite to be named this season's MVP, which would see him become the first player to win the award back-to-back since Peyton Manning (2008-09).

Does he deserve it? If not, who'd get your vote? Let us know your thoughts by using #bbcnfl on Twitter., external

  16. End of the firstpublished at 22:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

The quarter ends with Vegas facing a crucial third down to try to escape from just outside their own end zone.

    Big play coming up...

  17. Bad effort from Barberpublished at 22:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-10 Cincinnati Bengals

Poor special teams mistake by Peyton Barber who doesn't get his foot out of bounds before gathering the kick-off and the result is Vegas have to start their drive on their own two-yard line!

They've had a couple of bad penalties and now this special teams mistake, these are the details that cost you in the play-offs.

  18. field goal

Field goal - Bengalspublished at 22:05 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-10 Cincinnati Bengals

Evan McPherson makes it three points off the turnover with a 31-yard field goal, but that's probably a bit of a let-off for the Raiders after handing Joe Burrow such a short field.

The Bengals took over on the 15-yard line and you'd fancy them to score a touchdown there, but at least it's three free points.

They all count in the play-offs...

  19. Bengals sack Carrpublished at 22:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-7 Cincinnati Bengals

Huge play by the Bengals as they sack Derek Carr, force a fumble and take over possession deep in Raider territory!

Who else would it be but Trey Hendrickson with the sack - and it's Larry Ogunjobi who scoops the ball up, sadly not able to get all the way for a big man touchdown but they're in close range to score again here.

Andrew Priestley: Two QBs with differing levels of NFL experience, but both are making their first appearance in the post-season. I fancy the Raiders to cause an upset tonight.

Who are you backing? If you agree with Andrew then hit thumbs up, or thumbs down for the Bengals.
