Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 21:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-7 Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow throws a dart to tight end C.J Uzomah.

The Raiders kept Burrow quiet in their previous meeting this season, but they can't so far as he's already thrown for 65 yards - and this was his first ever drive in the play-offs.

Ja'Marr Chase has already had more receiving yards today than he had in the entire last game against the Raiders.

  2. Great play!published at 21:52 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Ja'Marr Chase has caught three first down passes so far - but Joe Mixon gets the first big play of the game, and it's a simple screen but he finds a nice hole to rumble 21 yards.

    Cincy in the red zone.

  3. Chase showing Burrow some lovepublished at 21:51 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Those two really do have a bromance going on. Ja'Marr Chase is even wearing a Joe Burrow t-shirt tonight.

  4. Chase on the case earlypublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow looks at Ja'Marr Chase twice in two plays - the first comes up short but the second connects for the first down.

Really need to just copy & paste 'Burrow to Chase' for tonight, could be a few of those...

  5. Key Battle: Vegas sack attackpublished at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 Cincinnati Bengals

    Maxx CrosbyImage source, Getty Images

A big key to watch out for tonight in our first game - how many times the Raiders can get at Joe Burrow.

The Bengals QB was sacked a whopping 51 times this season. Only 54 QBs have been sacked 50 times or more since 1970, and none of those managed to get to a Super Bowl.

Maxx Crosby has been a menace for Las Vegas all season by getting in the faces of opposition QBs - whoever wins that battle could decide this one.

  6. field goal

Field goal - Raiderspublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Daniel Carlson converts from 47 yards, into the wind, to grab an opening drive score for the visitors.

Nice drive from Derek Carr with 40 yards passing, but he could not find Hunter Renfrow on third down - with Mike Hilton breaking the pass up.

Hilton is facing Renfrow all night tonight, so pray for his ankle as Renfrow is as shifty as they come!

  7. Third down conversionpublished at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 0-0 Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals fans are making some noise, making it tough for Carr to communicate with his team, but they hear enough to convert a crunch third down, with tight end Darren Waller taking the ball in on the Bengals' 35-yard line.

We've spoken a lot about the Cincinnati playmakers but with Waller, Hunter Renfrow and Josh Jacobs, Vegas have some firepower too.

  8. Raiders with the ballpublished at 21:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders 0-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Vegas get us going with a couple of Josh Jacobs runs and a nice Derek Carr completion to Zay Jones as they reach midfield.

  12. Raiders stat attackpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

    RaidersImage source, Getty Images
    • The Raiders are in the play-offs for just the second time in 18 years. It's also 18 years since they last won a play-off game.
    • Rich Bisaccia is the first interim head coach to lead a team to the NFL play-offs for 60 years.
    • Raiders QB Derek Carr ranked fifth in the league with a franchise best 4,804 passing yards – he's one of just seven QBs ever to have thrown for 3,000 yards in each of their first eight seasons.
    • Hunter Renfrow is just the second receiver in Raiders history to record 100 catches in the season, catching 103 balls for 1,038 yards and nine TDs.
    • The Raiders won all four of their games that went to overtime this season.
  13. Bengals stat attackpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

    BengalsImage source, Getty Images
    • Ja'Marr Chase had the most receiving yards a rookie receiver has ever had in the Super Bowl era, with his tally of 1,455 yards the most in the AFC.
    • Chase and Tee Higgins are the youngest pair of 1,000-yard receivers in NFL history.
    • Joe Burrow broke team records with 4,611 passing yards and 34 touchdown passes and ranked second in the NFL with a 108.3 passer rating.
    • Joe Mixon was third in the league with 1,205 rushing yards - the most in his career.
    • Mixon scored 16 TDs and is one of just three players this season to have 1,500 scrimmage yards and 15 TDs.
  14. 'Derek Carr has to make some explosive plays'published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders v Cincinnati Bengals (21:30 GMT)

    Jason Bell
    Former NFL cornerback

I think this will come down to defensive front play. The Raiders' strength is their defensive line, the guys off the edge, so let's see if they attack Joe Burrow.

He likes to stand in the pocket a lot and take a little to deliver the ball down the field and get those big plays, so that's going to be the battle, that's going to be the match-up.

Offensively, the Raiders are starting to run the ball better, which is what they're going to have to do, but Derek Carr is going to have to make some explosive plays down the field. This is the biggest game of his career, to this point.

NFL: I was wrong! - Osi admits the Bengals are a 'fantastic' football team

It takes a lot for Osi to admit he's wrong, but when the Bengals beat the Chiefs in a straight-up shootout - the rest of the NFL sat up and took notice.

They've won their division for the first time since 2015 and are now chasing a first play-off win in 30 seasons!

  16. The big-play Bengalspublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

Las Vegas Raiders v Cincinnati Bengals (21:30)

The Bengals have been the entertainers this season with big play after big play, mainly from second-year QB Joe Burrow and record-breaking rookie receiver, and his former college team-mate, Ja'Marr Chase.

Burrow had over 4,000 yards passing, Chase had over 1,000 yards receiving, as did Tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon ran for 1,000 yards for good measure.

All four of Zac Taylor's stars are under 26 so this team has a great future ahead of them, but why not this year?

  17. This weekend's winners? It's anyone's guesspublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

    Osi Umenyiora
    Two-time Super Bowl winner

It was exactly what the NFL wanted. It's the culmination of years of hard work, years of trying to get something right. I think this is what separates the NFL from pretty much every other league there is right now. It's so difficult to call which way games are going to go. I couldn't tell you who's going to win the Super Bowl. I couldn't tell you who's going to win the games this weekend. As supposed experts, for us to not know, I think that's the ultimate of what the NFL wants.

  19. One of the best regular seasons ever?published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2022

It was one of the most exciting regular seasons we've ever seen in the NFL. There was just so much parity. It's all about the match-ups. There were so many games that went down to the wire. It was exciting week to week and makes for a great play-off experience to come.
