There isn't much time to recover - the Los Angeles Rams host the San Francisco 49ers next in less than 10 minutes!

As Burrow said, the Bengals defence really stepped up in the second half to lay the foundation for that incredible comeback.

Mahomes was sacked four times and intercepted twice, including that crucial turnover in overtime. Mahomes was nearly picked off on the previous play as well!

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been speaking after that breathless victory.

As impressive as the Bengals comeback was, the Chiefs had one foot in the Super Bowl after the first half and threw it away.

What went wrong? Mahomes looked like a different player in the second half.

Mahomes took his side to the five-yard line, but was sacked twice, and had a fumble recovered by a team-mate to put the pressure on his kicker.

Kansas City Chiefs 24-24 Cincinnati Bengals

The Chiefs almost messed that up big style! Mahomes is sacked for 15 yards on third down, but Harrison Butker nails the 44-yard field goal with three seconds on the clock to take the game to overtime.

Shovel pass to Kelce on third down and he shimmies and darts for a vital first down on the Bengals seven.

The Chiefs will be remembering last week's recovery against the Bills, with just 13 seconds left. They want to run the clock down as much as possible to deny the Bengals the chance of coming back - and score a touchdown obviously!

They are in field goal range.

A storming McKinnon run takes the ball to the Cincinnati 29 and the Chiefs are happy to let the clock run down to the two minute warning.
