It doesn't matter what call comes in from the offensive coordinator, you've got to make sure that you've thrown an incompletion within four seconds to leave a shot for the field goal, or that ball has to be delivered to the end zone. That late stop was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect first half for the Chiefs.

Every other drive was a touchdown, Kansas were perfect on third downs and gave away zero penalty yards.

Mahomes is in his element inside the two minute warning and the Chiefs end up with the ball at the one, nine seconds left, after a flag for defensive pass interference.

But coach Andy Reid, with no timeouts left, elects to go for a passing play on second down instead of kicking a field goal and Hill is held up on the one.

Mahomes connects with the explosive Hill for 33 yards and just like that Kansas are inside the Bengals half with 49 seconds left.

Boy did the Bengals need that score. That was a superb catch and run from Perine.

But... Patrick Mahomes now has the ball with just over a minute left on the clock. We've seen what he can do in that time before! Just look at last week's win over the Bills.
