    Wayde van Niekerk was looking leggy in the semi-finals, he had to come through as one of the fastest losers. He's a 400m specialist - but he's ran sub-10s for the 100m, sub-20s for the 200m and nearly sub-43s for the 400m!He's a miracle athlete.

    In the absence of reigning champion Usain Bolt, Wayde van Niekerk will be aiming to complete a 200m-400m double. Isaac Makwala is also in the final after coming through a solo time trial, having initially been barred from competing because of a norovirus outbreak. Britain's Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake also goes.

    I can see a situation where Kori Carter could go out hard and they wouldn't be able to catch her, or we could see them trying to keep up and then lose her.
