    Eilish McColgan

Eilish McColgan talking to BBC Sport: "I knew today was going to be tough.

"I was ranked seventh in my heat and to get into top five I knew would be tough. I didn't know we were running 15-minute pace.

"I'm so much more confident this year. The training went well and I didn't have injuries that I have had in the past. London 2012 was scary, but I'm older and more mature now.

"I would say a PB would satisfy me in the final. I didn't know it was a 15-minute race. Usually when I run that it's eyeballs out. I'd love to run 14:40 or 14:45.

"Laura Muir and I - we're doing it for Dundee."

With four laps to go, I think Steph Twell is in trouble. She looks pained in her facial expression.

There is no chance for her unless she gets on the back of that group. She has worked really hard but is paying the price for it.
