    Selby v Hunter

A good right hand from Lee Selby early on in round four. He's backed to the ropes and tangled but slips away and throws another right. I'd say that right hand is key here, can he keep it operating?

Rory Forrest: You simply can't look past a 'prime' Tyson. Brutal knockout power with unrivalled speed in his division!

Rob Trick: Tyson has to go down as the most destructive boxer. Vinnie Jones the most destructive footballer.

Daniel Lovell: Lennox Lewis in my opinion.

Given Anthony Joshua's dominant style, we want to know who you think are the most dominant athletes in sport. We are on #bbcboxing.

  3. Round threepublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

There is some speed on show here. Counter punching aplenty, it's like the world's fastest game of chess.

This round is going to the American I'd say unless Lee Selby can deliver in the closing minute, a decent right hand gets a fraction of his man and another lands, that's a point scorer for sure. He may have just edged it late on.

  4. Round three...published at 21:06 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

Now then, what have you got Lee Selby?

Suddenly this is a major question asked of a fighter fancied to go on and build on the fine work he has done so far already in his career. Eric Hunter looks confident suddenly, standing and teasing his rival a little...

  5. Round twopublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

A warning for Eric Hunter midway through the round - low blows - and as he switches off after protest Lee Selby lunges in and gets a bit of his man. In steps Selby again... careful, a right from Hunter hits his man cleanly.

They engage again and SELBY IS DOWN!

It's the punches you don't see that hurt you and that one came from nowhere. Selby is up and OK, his legs have substance but my oh my that was a shock. It's a left cross which floored him when the pair were close.

What a warning, this American packs power.

  6. Round twopublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

"Deep breaths, plenty of time," says the Selby corner and out comes their man.

He leads with the left, an orthodox fighter but such is his talent, switching up briefly is an option should his balance require.

Hunter too leads with the left but he's clearly looking for solutions early on, feeling his way in...

  7. Round Onepublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

Selby bobbing and weaving, the bouncy feet belong to him and he launches an overhand right, getting out of the way of a counter at the speed of light. That was slick. Three shots follow, pretty tame but still ambitious.

The work rate is all his. Hunter stands side on, using his shoulder as a deference mechanism and he's going to have to do more. Round one belongs to Selby, that was slick and encouraging.

  8. Round Onepublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

Selby, white shorts with gold trim, Hunter black shorts with some sort of animal-print design. Some early jabs thrown, nothing significant. A faked left followed by a right to the jaw from Selby, decent shot, got a bit of glove and chin...

Lee Selby of course is from Barry, a place you may have seen plenty of on hit BBC Three show Gavin and Stacey. Tidy.

  12. Postpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Selby v Hunter

Lee Selby has grafted for moments like this, four years ago he was fighting in the Newport Centre but this is the big time now. Two fights ago he claimed a world title and suddenly things changed.

He looks across the ring and sees Eric Hunter pacing. Hunter has the look of Floyd Mayweather and seems to like his bling.

    Selby v Hunter

"The reigning IBF featherweight champion of the worlddddd, Lee Selby!" shouts the ring announcer.

In comes the champion, trailed by someone holding his belt and two people with holding Welsh flags. It's an entourage fit for a king and there's enough gold on Selby to imply he is of royalty.

His brother Andrew - himself a British-level fighter - holds the belt aloft.

Eric Hunter's walk in music is a little eerie. I can't say it would make me want to fight but each to your own I suppose. If they don't stop playing it soon I may drift into slumber.

Here comes Lee Selby, gold trim on his white hood...

The new fighting pride of Wales, Lee Selby, will be hoping to defend his IBF featherweight belt against American Eric Hunter tonight.

And victory could open some seriously lucrative doors for the classy 29-year-old.

"There have been some great fighters calling me out," Selby said. "But I've got to come through this one first."
