Blood is streaming from Anthony Joshua's nose, but it is not from a punch, but the head of Takam with a wild lunge as he tried to throw a left hook to the body.
"Tell that ref that he is coming in with his head," Joshua's corner say, clearly unhappy with Takam.

Anthony Joshua may well have a broken nose.

And it is on to round two. Takam, bouncing around, tries a left hook to the body but it is a clumsy attempt and he bashes on to Joshua's nose with his head. It looked unintentional. Clumsy, but unintentional.

They were singing it on St Mary's Street, in the pubs of Mill Lane and it reverberated around the Principality Stadium throughout the undercard.
The crowd did not stop singing throughout the opening round, this is the dictionary definition of a partisan crowd.

A very cagey opening three minutes in Cardiff. It has to be Joshua's round as Takam did nothing adventurous, desperately trying to not get hit. A slow start. It will get better.

And now the staredown. This is when it all gets a bit real for Carlos Takam. Joshua towers above him. This is going to be one huge shock if Takam is to rip the belts from Joshua's hands.
