Picture the scene, England are 1-0 down at half-time to mighty Panama in the World Cup and Gareth Southgate just does not know what to say.

Luckily, the England boss will simply be able to play this motivational video from Tyson Fury to motivate the troops for the second half.

BBC Sport app users may need to click on the link to watch the video. It is well worth doing so.

  3. 'Fabulous uncertainty'published at 21:01 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

    Mike Costello
BBC Sport boxing correspondent at the Manchester Arena

It might well be that you could argue Fury needed a break mentally and physically. He had been boxing from when he was younger than 10 years of age.

I remember the first time I ever interviewed him, it was on the ring apron after he won the ABA final in 2008. His dad appeared on his shoulder and told everybody that this young man would be heavyweight champion of the world. Many scoffed but it underlined the kind of pressure that was being imposed on him even at that time.

I am open minded. The performance against Klitschko gives any heavyweight in the world problems. But Wilder and Joshua are younger and could apply pressure. There is fabulous uncertainty around those permutations.

Looking at this fight, there isn't a result that will not create some sort of controversy. Maybe a stoppage in six or seven rounds would please everybody.

Promoter Frank Warren has kept saying: 'Tyson needs rounds.' If Seferi is gone in a round, people will say it's pointless. If Seferi takes him the distance, they will say Fury has nothing left.

I get the feeling this will be a fair bit off a sell out.

The problem with bringing a big name back into the sport is that people still want to see them be challenged.

That of course is not the way things tend to work and I think some have stayed away in expectation of a routine night for Tyson Fury.

Promoter Frank Warren still looks chipper as ever though in a cream suit with white pocket piece. That’s proper boxing clobber.

  5. Murray to fight on 23 June after allpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

Some boxing news tonight and it's just been announced that Martin Murray will fight Roberto Garcia for the WBC silver middleweight title at London's O2 Arena on 23 June.

The 35-year-old had been set to fight Billy Joe Saunders for the WBO world middleweight title before he withdrew after injuring his hand in training.

Murray will instead go toe-to-toe with Mexican Garcia, who is on a 13-fight winning streak which stretches back to 2010.

"I was gutted about Billy Joe Saunders pulling out of our fight for a second time but this is a great replacement," said Murray. "Roberto Garcia is the champion and he's willing to travel to the UK so we know he is well up for it."

We’ve had some good dust ups here in recent months - Groves v Eubank Jr sticks in the mind.

Somehow I don’t think tonight will be as competitive but yet they arrive in their droves for a man many love and others dislike.

Love him, loathe him or simply long for one of his one liners, he’s back in the ring. This place holds 21,000. If he enjoys the trajectory many believe he will, he’ll need far more seats than this two years from now.

Dale Nicholls: Styles make fights I feel Fury beats Joshua, Joshua beats Wilder, but Wilder beats Fury. Let’s hope we see all these fights happen. I’d rank them AJ-TF-DW.

  10. Fury looked a million dollars - Hattonpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

Fury's trainer Ben Davison has overseen his weight loss, with some of their work done at former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton's gym.

Hatton admits he did not expect to see Fury return to the ring given the depression and lifestyle struggles he endured.

"I thought it was too far for him to come back," said Hatton. "My lord am I proud to say he has proven me wrong. What I have seen in that gym has been spellbinding.

"He has looked a million dollars. If he has maybe another three fights over the next 12 months, he will be ready for Joshua or Wilder."

  12. How do you lose seven stone?published at 20:45 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

He may still not be in the best shape of his life, but Tyson Fury has produced a huge effort to just get himself in the ring again, losing seven stone in fact after weighing more than 27 stone not too long ago.

But how has he trimmed down?

Trainer Ben Davison has watched every punch. He oversaw the 11 workouts a week which cut fat away from the former world champion, creating his trim shape for a Manchester Arena return against Sefer Seferi.

"When I took the job on, I knew we needed to get him to Marbella and get away from all the distractions so he could focus on what we were doing," Davison, 25, tells BBC Sport.

"It was a must. I knew the good weather would help him and that was the first stage of getting him back into his routine. My goal at that stage was to get him back in love with boxing."

  14. 'I'll fight Wilder and Joshua on the same night'published at 20:41 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

"Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua have world belts and are considered champions today, so let's get the fights on," Fury, 29, told BBC Sport.

"The fights need to be made. If boxing is to be loved and adored, big fights have to be made. I will fight Wilder and Joshua on the same night.

"People haven't seen the best Tyson Fury yet. They think the Klitschko performance was my best. That was nowhere near, it was about 50%.

"Even when I was 27 stone, some of the top heavyweights in the country found me very hard work. I never lost it, even at 27 stone I could still float like a butterfly and sting like a bee."

  15. What's happening in the heavyweight division?published at 20:38 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

By beating Wladimir Klitschko with a unanimous decision in Dusseldorf in November 2015, Tyson Fury got his hands on the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts in the alphabet world of professional boxing.

Now he wants his gold back. Another Brit, Anthony Joshua, now has possession of those four belts, with American Deontay Wilder holding the WBC version.

There had been hopes that Joshua would fight Wilder next to find us a unified heavyweight champion for the first time since Lennox Lewis ruled the division in 1999.

However, the murky world of boxing politics might mean Joshua has to fight mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin or lose his WBA strap, with Wilder maybe in line to fight the winner.

But Fury wants to get himself back into title contention and if he gets himself fit and impresses in his next few fights then he will certainly shake things up.

Hello and welcome along to the return of Tyson Fury.

I'm Michael Emons and will be guiding you through all the build-up and the fight later on as the former world champion gets back on a road that he hopes will take him to either Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder and some gold once again around his waist.

Let's hope it is a memorable evening.

  17. He's backpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

It was one of the best performances from a British boxer in a generation.

Not only did Tyson Fury end the 11-year winning run of world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on away territory back in 2015, he did it in style and made Klitschko look silly at times.

But after the highs, came the lows.

A rematch was on the cards, but never happened and then the Briton fell into a dark world of depression, cocaine and alcohol, gained seven stone in weight and was banned from boxing while a UK Anti-Doping investigation played out.

But now, after an absence of 924 days from boxing, he is back.
